Chapter 7

Jaylin's POV

"So you're famous?" I asked after Colleen and Rachel finished explaining everything. "Not really . More like YouTube famous" Colleen replied. "So, do people just come up to you like that often? " I asked. I had a lot of questions that needed to be answered. "Not as often as you think." Rachel answered. "Does everybody in our family do this YouTube thing?" I said as I looked around the mall for more screaming fans. "Just Josh, Christopher, Rachel, and I." Colleen said. "So you could get recognized anywhere, anytime, and with anyone." Rachel said. I sat there silently until Gwen put her hand on my shoulder. "It's okay honey. There's nothing to be afraid of. You aren't going to get hurt. We love you too much to let anything happen to you. And I can guarantee that Rachel won't let anything happen to you," Gwen said. Rachel chuckled. "It's true. I promise that as long as I am alive, you will not be in danger. Ever." Rachel said. I smiled and kissed her on the cheek. I wrapped my arms around Colleen, Rachel, and Gwen. "I love you Jay. I mean it." Rachel said. "I love you too." I said. Colleen broke our group hug to look at her phone. "Oh my gosh." Colleen said sounding amused. "What?" Rachel asked as she leaned over to look at Colleen's phone. Because I was sitting on Rachel's lap, I naturally leaned over with her. Gwen ran around the bench so she was behind us looking at Colleen's phone. I was reading as fast as I could but Colleen was scrolling too fast. "What do the tweets say? I don't have my glasses on." Gwen said. "This one says, 'Just saw @ColleenB123 @MissRBaller and @pixietangerine with a little girl I've never seen before. #ColleensGottaSecret '" Colleen said. "I think we need to film a video explaining a few things." Rachel said to Colleen as she looked at me. "Yeah, that's probably a good idea" Colleen said. Rachel grabbed her phone out of her pocket. "I got a text from Teeny. ' YOU GOT JAYLIN AND DIDN'T INVITE US OVER TO SEE HER!" Rachel said with a laughing tone in her voice. "I got the exact  same text from Heather." Colleen said. Colleen called Heather and invited her and Teeny over tonight for another slumber party. Heather said that her and Teeny would be over around 5:00. Rachel took out her phone and looked at the time. 10:23. "Now I want you guys to take Jaylin while I do some secret stuff shopping." Colleen said.

Rachel and Gwen agreed and Colleen left. Rachel gave me a piggy back ride all around the mall until Gwen got a text telling her, Rachel, and I to meet Colleen at the Apple store. So Rachel, Gwen and I walked to meet Colleen. When we got to the store, we saw Colleen by the phone cases. "Hey guys." Colleen said as we walked up to her. "Jaylin, I need help with something," Colleen said. "What?" I asked. "I need you to help me pick out a case for my phone." Colleen said. "You can choose any of the ones that say iPhone 5c on the corner of the box. Okay?" Colleen added. I nodded and looked at the phone cases. There were so many to choose from. So many colors and patterns. I was at a loos of which case to choose when I saw the perfect one It was a white unicorn that had a purple sparkly mane. It was rubber and the unicorn was flying through the air.

I pointed to the case and looked at Colleen. "I like this one," She said as she took one and walked to the counter to pay for it. Rachel took me over to look at all the phones they had. There were some really cool ones. They even had pink phones. Colleen said that she was done paying for everything so we left the store. "What time is it?" Colleen asked. "12:14," Rachel said. "Do you guys wanna go get lunch?" Colleen asked. "Sure," Gwen said. Rachel crouched down and said "I'm fine with that,".  "Me too," I said as I crawled on Rachel's back. We walked out of the mall with our bags and back to the car. I got in the car while Rachel, Gwen, and Colleen put the bags in the trunk of the car.

Everyone sat in the same spot that they sat in the previous time. Before Colleen even started the car, she asked where we wanted to go for lunch. "In N Out," Rachel replied quickly followed by a laugh. "I like that idea." Gwen said. "Okay, In N Out it is." Colleen said as she left the mall parking lot. "I have a question." I said. "What question would that be?" Gwen asked. "What is In N Out?" I replied. And from the reaction  I got, you would've thought that Colleen ran over an elderly lady.  "YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN TO IN N OUT?" They all screamed at me. I shook my head. "We are going....TO IN N OUT!" Colleen said all dramatically. Rachel was still looking at me like I had a third eye. 

She grabbed my head and brought me into her chest. "I'm worried about you," She said as she continued to hug me. She kissed my head. I chuckled and Rachel laughed too. Rachel held my hand until we were at In N Out. I got out of the car and walked with Rachel to the front  door of the restaurant. Rachel turned around and I did too. Colleen was talking to Gwen about something I couldn't hear. Rachel and I waited for Colleen and Gwen to come inside before ordering. Finally they joined us and we started to order. I looked at the menu and there was like 7 things on there. "Jaylin, what do you want Honey?" Colleen asked as she placed her hand on my shoulder.

"I don't even know."  I replied. "Do you want a cheeseburger with fries? I'll share the fries with you. If you want." Rachel said. "Sure." I said. "What do you want to drink?" Colleen asked. "Do you want a chocolate shake?" Gwen asked. "Yeah!," I said excitedly. Colleen ordered the food while Rachel, Gwen and I found a table to sit at. Rachel decided to sit next to Gwen to let Colleen sit by me. But before anyone could sit down, Gwen wiped down the seats and the table. And before Colleen could sit down, Gwen had to wipe her seat again. While Colleen was getting the food, Rachel took me to the bathroom. We washed our hands and walked back to the table. I sat down next to Colleen and she handed me a napkin. Colleen handed out everybody's food and stared at me. It took me a few seconds to realize that Rachel and Gwen were staring at me as well. "What?" I asked. "Just waiting for you to take a bite," Gwen said. I took a bite and my mouth melted into a puddle of deliciousness. I looked at everyone and sighed. "It's so good." I whispered. 

"YAY! SHE LIKES IT!" Gwen cheered. Colleen, Rachel, and I ate and talked while I savored every bite of the delicious food. After we were finished eating and got into the car , Colleen said that she wanted to go clothes shopping for me. So with Colleen and Rachel singing Ariana Grande's Problem at the top of their lungs and Gwen and I laughing laughing hysterically, we took off on another adventure.
