You were extremely aware of Hawk's eyes on you, as you both sat in his office looking up info for his upcoming mission. As you quietly typed stuff into the computer, you silently wished that you could reverse the seating arrangement so that you had a better view him instead. Currently it was arranged so that he had a perfect view of you at all times, but you would have to turn to the side in order to even catch a glimpse of him. Even though you couldn't directly see him as you looked at the screen in front of you, it didn't make you any less aware of his eyes as they studied your every move.

You turned your head to the side, trying to catch a quick glimpse of him, but his eyes locked into yours instantly as a cocky grin flashed across his face. You could feel not only your face, but your ears, start to flush almost instantly.

"You're blushing," he teased. "Do I have that affect on you just by being in the same room as you?"

Ignoring his question, you asked, "Do you actually want me to get this work done? Or did you hire me just to look at?"

"Yes."

You were just about to say something about his ambigious answer, when he added, "I looked at your scores from Seiai, so I know you are competent in both hero work and academics since you graduated top in your class. I have no worries about the job you are doing. And you being cute is just a bonus for me."

"Well I'm not going to be able to get anything done if you keep distracting me with your flattery."

"It's not just flattery, it's fact. I can't seem to calm myself down around you," he said, now walking in your direction.

As he approached your chair, he came up behind you, forcing you to look up at him from your seated position. He was beautiful, even upside down, even with his out-of-control hair going every direction. His golden eyes were catching the sunlight in such a way that it made his irises look infinite and rich. He stroked the side of your face gently before coming in for a sweet, upside down peck, letting his lips linger against yours for a while. The sensation was unusual for you, as his goatee was gently brushing up against your upper lip, tickling you slightly. His lips then parted as his tongue came out to swirl around with yours, deepening the kiss. Slowly he inched his way around your chair, still kissing you deeply, until he was now facing you and leaning up against the desk, pulling you into him.

You could feel his fingertips lacing through your hair and grabbing just slightly as he nibbled slightly on your bottom lip.

"You are amazing, y/n. From the moment I saw you, I needed to be with you." He said in between kisses, before slowly making his way down your neck. You felt a airy gasp escape your lips, which seemed to excite him more and you felt your body being jerked in his direction.

As he reached down to grab your ass, he pulled you into him even tighter, making you very aware that he wanted you to know how aroused he was. Even through his pants you could feel just how hard he was as he pressed into you firmly.

You felt your breath hitch in surprise as he reached up his hand to fondle your breast through your clothing, eventually finding an pinching your nipple through the thin fabric.

"Your body is so responsive to my touch, dove," he cooed in your ear before biting it lightly, sending shivers down your spine.

You felt a moistness start to form in between your legs. An overwhelming urge that needed to be taken care of. You wanted to reach down to the front of his pants and stroke what he had been pressing up against you, but you looked around and realized that you were not in the ideal place. What if someone walks in? I just started this week, I don't need to need the few people that work in his office to already hate me.

No sooner had the thought come to your head, when you heard a knock at the door right before it opened. You quickly pulled away from Hawks, but you knew without even turning around that whoever had just walked into the room must have known what was going on. Why else would you be so close to each other in a closed office? As you turned around, there stood Himari, holding a stack of papers. She had a slight grin on her face, which confirmed your suspicions about her knowing exactly what was going on.

"The contracts came in for the advertisement job that called last week, they would like to do a photoshoot next week if possible. And I have pictures from the surveillance that you wanted. Also you also got a few calls from Mika, who wants you to call her back as soon as possible."

Mika? Who is that?

"Thank you, Himari," he said as he took all of the papers from her. "I'll return her call right now."

After Himari left the room, Hawks turned back to you and said, "I'm probably going to have to be on this call for a while. Do you want to go pick us up lunch so that when I'm done I can actually sit and enjoy it with you?"

"Yeah...sure," you said.

As you left to go downstairs, you thought to yourself, "She's probably a coworker or something, right? But then again, it's not like I'm in a relationship with him. Maybe he has something going on with her too."

As you were passing Himari's desk, she blurted out, "Don't worry. There's nothing between Mika and Hawk anymore."

Anymore? Was that supposed to make me feel better?

"Were they togeth---"

"They broke up months ago, they are just close friends now."
