The rest of the band turned to glare at Joel as soon as the door shut. "You do not know when to keep your mouth shut do you? He was only offering to give us a bit of space to process this pretty life changing discovery! You didn't need to be an ass about it!" snapped Niko as Joel sighed.

"I don't trust him that's all. He just shows up out of nowhere and we're all supposed to be cool with it?" Joel argued. Joonas let out a huff of disbelief before leaving the room just as Aleksi had done a couple of moments before. Niko shot Joel one last look before following Joonas out of the room.

Eventually everyone had left the room and went to sit on the couch to process the day. "I think I need a beer." muttered Niko as he stood up. He wandered into the kitchen before walking straight back out. But instead of a beer, he held a piece of paper and some folded fabric.

"What's that?" asked Olli as Niko took a seat again. "I don't know. It was just left on the side." he answered. "Read the note." Olli said as he took the cloth from Niko.

"ok so it says... 'Hi everyone,
I decided to get out of your way for a bit. It was clear that my presence was causing arguments so I've left for a bit to let you process everything you have learnt today. If you need me then you can pray to me and I will come to you. I promise you that. Wrapped in the cloth are necklaces that are tied to my grace. They'll start glowing when I'm near.

Please be careful whilst I'm gone.

Aleksi'

Olli carefully unwrapped the cloth to reveal five necklaces. They were really simple, just a plain black chord with a white crystal hanging from them. "You don't seriously think those things will work right? They look like cheap crap from a gift shop." muttered Joel as he looked at the necklaces skeptically. Everyone stared at the necklaces for a bit, waiting for someone to make the first move.

Eventually Tommi picked up a necklace and put it on before handing one to Joonas. The guitarist put his on quickly, glancing down at the crystal that now hung around his neck. The rest of the guys, apart from Joel, all leant forward to pick up a necklace. Joonas looked like he wanted to say something but held his tongue.

"Joel why do you hate Aleksi so much?" Joonas eventually whispered. Joel turned to look at him, his eyes softening when his eyes landed on the guitarist.

"I...I just don't trust him. He appears out of nowhere, is apparently an angel and is apparently here to protect us. Something about that just doesn't feel right to me." replied Joel shrugging. "But that's no reason to be rude to him. He's done nothing but help us." protested Niko. Joel hummed before standing up. "I'm going to bed. Far too much has happened today for me to want to be awake." he said as he strolled off to his room.

"As annoying as Joel is being right now, we should probably go and get some sleep. It's been an insane day." said Niko as he stood up. The others agreed and all began to make their way to their rooms.

Joonas slowly made his way into his room, the day still weighing heavily on his mind. With a small sigh, he turned to the window to take in the scenery outside. He wished he had gotten to talk to Aleksi more but now he at least knew how to get a message to him. He slowly bowed his head, hoping that this would work.

"Hey Aleksi. I don't know if i'm doing this right or if you can even hear me but I need to thank you. I wouldn't be as ok as I am without you so I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am." he said, his voice shaking a little.

The guitarist glanced out of the window again before flopping down on his bed, the hectic day he had finally catching up with him. Maybe if Joonas had managed to stay awake a bit longer, he would've noticed the angel softly stroke his hair and whisper a quiet goodnight before leaving the room.
