After the much-needed preparations, to make sure that the women and pups are safely hidden away, uncle Alexander received a mind link from Selene letting us know where the war will take place. We geared up in our armor, we took our swords as well, with the name of our pack written on them. Flags were being raised in the air as we marched towards our destination.

With the help of my uncle and Alaric along with his coven, we were able to gather more supernaturals to fight alongside us. Witches and warlocks from all over, came to take part in the war. Even a couple more warriors from uncle Alexander's pack. By the time I was done counting, we were well over two thousand, marching toward the battleground. With my mate next to me and my best friend Lucas and his mate. I had to concentrate on them as well, to make sure they make it out safely.

Everyone was chanting the name of my pack and I felt a sense of pride taking over me at that moment. On the other hand, Silas doesn't know what he's about to be faced with. I sent some of my warriors to his pack house to burn it to the ground, but they had to make sure to get the innocent members out of there first and get them to join our pack. If they want to make it out of this alive that is. We wouldn't hurt the women and children there, so I hope they don't put up a fight when it's time to leave.

The battlefield is getting closer and I stopped so I can look at my mate one last time before the war. I kissed him with everything I have in me and promised him that after this, if we make it out alive which I'm sure we will, I'll make sure he's treated the way he's supposed to be treated from day one with love and respect. In all honesty, I can't wait for all of this to be over and done with so that we can go back to the way things were.

We continued our march and finally made it, to find the other pack there marching our way. I walked up to the front, as everyone got quiet and saw the one called Silas coming towards me.

"It's best if you give up now and surrender, before making yourself look stupid in front of your pack. You are all very weak I can sense that." Silas said. I chuckled to myself, since Alexander got his friends Alastor and Charon to cast a protective spell over us. So not even other witches can sense it or break it that's why he thought we were weak, how pathetic.

"We will not surrender. We will all fight to the death." I replied. He growled and went back to his people, then told them to get ready. The battle is on, this is it.

We shifted into our wolf form and started fighting for our lives, we took them by surprise because they didn't realize that we had the upper hand. What I didn't realize is that after we wiped out almost everyone from the green forest pack, Silas had more warriors hiding and waiting for the go-ahead to come out, which he sounded. Hundreds of wolves ran towards us and we had to put up even more fight, since it seems as if they were well trained.

Thanks to the gifts we were all blessed with, we still had the upper hand even as more wolves were heading toward us. The battle was on. the clashing of paws and spells wafting through the air and giving the place a dark and eery feeling. What surprises us the most were the giants who appeared out of nowhere to fight alongside Silas. He was smirking all the way through, but even with the giants on his side we were still able to defeat them. I was so proud of Kayden who was fighting with all his might and even jumping in front of a warrior who fell and almost got killed by the other.

"OK EVERYONE THAT'S ENOUGH!" I heard a shout and looked up to see a beautiful red hair Phoenix floating in the air with fire around her. It was then I realized it was Accalia and my eyes widened as I looked over at Alexander who had a proud look on his face.

"EITHER YOU SURRENDER NOW OR FEEL MY WRATH OF FIRE SILAS!" I was surprised that no one from the green forest side heed to her warnings and continued fighting, so she took it upon herself to wipe them all out with her fire. Once the war was over and Silas realize his defeat, he surrendered to us and we took him as our prisoner. Accalia changed back into her true form and walked up to us with a smile on her face.

"Easiest war I've been in so far, took them by surprise didn't we?" She asked me and I chuckled and thanked her. I ran towards Kayden and gave him a much-needed hug which he returned with a sigh.

"It's over baby, it's finally over. Now everyone will mark this as the day we defeated one of the greatest packs in the world. The green forest pack is no more." Tears were falling down his cheeks and I kissed him and continued to hug him. The place became bright once again and I looked up to see a beautiful lady descending from the sky. It was Selene.

"I'm so proud of every one of you and your wolves as well. I gave you those gifts because you are all the true heroes here and I'm happy to say that I have made the right choice. Thank you once again, Alexander and Accalia for being here and protecting my people, for that you will be greatly rewarded." With that, she disappeared and the place went back to normal. Once I checked everyone and saw that they were fine, I took Kayden's hand and told him that it was time to go home. I left a few of my warriors to clean up and burn the bodies of the ones who died. we made our way back to the pack house, to tell everyone the good news. Today was our lucky day and for that, I am thankful that we had the moon goddess on our side.
