"Alright I'm ready!". I smiled as I looked back at myself in the mirror. "Finally!". I heard Balz yell along with Amber laughing. I walked into the living room where they were sitting around. "What do you think?". The guys turned around and looked at my purple blue hair. "Damn. That's different. I like it". "Thanks Rick". "Don't tell Ash this but you look do-able". I couldn't help but laugh. "Shut up weirdo".

We packed into two cars and headed out to the Cheesecake Factory. I was definitely looking forward to their large shrimp and stuffing my face with cheesecake afterward. I turned on music while Amber applied her makeup. "All I can think about is food!". She laughed simply, trying not to mess up her eyeliner.

When we got to the Cheesecake Factory and sat down I felt like something was up but I couldn't figure out what. I ate my food fast and it was just at as tasty as I thought it was going to be. I started to take my bite of cheesecake when I looked up and noticed Chris sitting with some girl. I stared for a minute then she turned around and I saw that it was Megan! You've got to be fucking kidding me. I bit down on my tongue and looked at Ricky. "What's wrong?". I picked my phone out of my pocket.

Chris is here with megan.

He looked at the text then back at me. "You've got to be kidding me!". I shook my head no then my phone dinged. Oh course it was Chris!

Eating dinner with everyone at the Cheesecake Factory. Tell Megan I said hi.

I looked at the others and sighed. "Ready to go bowling?". Balz looked at his cheesecake then looked back up at me. "Ya I'll just get it to go". I smiled and got up. "I'll meet you guys there". Amber got up and headed out with me.

I got in my car and the tears wouldn't come. I was hurt but I felt like maybe I saw this coming? A moment later while I was starting up the car there was a knock on my window. I looked up to see those brown eyes.

I stepped out of the car and shut the door with Amber just awkwardly waiting. "What do you want". "It's not what you think. I'm trying to sort some stuff out with her but there is no romantic attraction". "So it's just sex". I said disgusted. "No we had to talk about the break up and her getting her stuff. She wants to get together but I don't. There is more but it doesn't matter". I raised my hand to cut him off, "I don't care. I've got to go. Enjoy the rest of your dinner". I opened the car door back up and got in it, trying not to make eye contact with him as I drove away.

I puffed as I tried to keep myself from crying as we pulled into the bowling alley. I got out and just had to keep repeating that if he wanted to be with me then he would be. When we got inside I saw that Balz and Ricky were already there some how and they were playing an intense game of air hockey. "BOOM MOTHERFUCKER". "Balz this is war. I'll finish you later". I walked over to to Balz and hugged the side of him and placed my head on him. "That bad huh?". "Kinda... I don't know. I'll get over it though". "We'll let play"

It was actually a pretty decent night minus the fact that I was sucking it up and loosing hardcore at bowling. Ricky and Balz were in a match to see who would be in first place. I looked down at my phone to see that I had a couple missed call and texts.

Chris- listen I would love to talk about this all. It's really not what you think.

I texted him back that I wasn't mad and I didn't want to talk about it cause it's done with. And told him thanks. The call was from a unknown that I didn't care to call back.

We all finished bowling and decided to go back to my house. I was actually starting to smile and laugh. Which was great. We were dancing around and playing xbox. "I'm glad you bounced back shel". I smiled at Ricky. "Me too, there is nothing I can do about it now. I'm over it. You know I think I'm might start actually putting myself out there and dating again". Amber poled up from the xbox. "Oh let me set you up! I know this guy-". "No I want to do this on my own". "Look how well that turned out". I glared at Balz and tossed a hard pillow at him. "What! I didn't mean it. It was a joke!". I rolled my eyes.
