To Beat The Game//TBTG//

Episode 8

August: "And you're sure that this might work?"

Velos: "Yeah, I might not pay much attention, but I'm not useless."

August: "Right..."

Karina: "Ready, guys?"

Velos: "Ready."

August: "Yeah, yeah, I'm ready."

Karina: "Alright, go ahead, Velos."

Velos: "Alright then, as soon as I do it, you have to swoop down with August."

Karina: "Aye, aye."

August: "Tch..."

*Velos forms into an eagle and swoops down toward the monster who was closer than he expected.*

Velos: "Time to get on with it..."

*Velos then morphs into an elephant, and falls right down on the monster, stunting it.*

Velos: "Now!"

*Karina starts to try and flap her wings, and eventually picks up enough power to start flying with August in her hands.*

Karina: "You need to lose weight..."

August: "mA'aM, I do NOT!"

Karina: "Yes, you do. Lay off the snacks, will ya?"

August: "Hmph!"

*As August draws out his sword, Karina then drops him to where the monster was.*

Karina: "Good luck, August!"

*Velos gets off of the monster to get out of August's way.*

August: "¡Muere bastardo! ¡Dejarnos solos! ¡DEJARNOS SOLOS!"

*August then successfully pierced the monster with his sword. When he drew it out of the monster's body, a big wave of air started coming out of the body.*

Karina: "Waaa! *She moves her wings defensively around her body, and magic surrounds, making a visible wall.*"

*Velos morphed into a blue whale so that he could not be blown away. August then starts to get blown away.*

Velos: "August!"

*Velos morphs into a falcon and starts to fly towards August with all of his willpower and succeeds in doing so.*

Velos: "Grab my wing!"

*August grabs it, and Velos morphs back into a blue whale and drops to the ground, causing the ground to shake.*

Velos: "Hold on!"

August: *smirks* "I guess you do care about us, huh?"

Velos: "I will LET YOU GO if you say that again..."

August: "Understandable, have a good day."

*Gallahan sits back and smiles.*

Gallahan, thinking: They may be reckless, bumbling idiots, but they all have their strengths. It's obvious that all are too headstrong for their good, but when they put their egos aside, they work very well together. I'd never seen an explosion like this since another band of heroes came years ago. This group sure is interesting indeed. They have a lot of potential for a bunch of amateurs, as well as the dedication and willpower. But it seems that they have some personal problems that they need to work out before they can succeed. Mariet has the heart, quick thinking and the obvious reckless behavior of the trio. Zaizu has stubbornness, as well as recklessness, caring for others and is a bit more homebodied than the other two. Minskio seems to have a weird way of showing patience, observing his surroundings despite his low attention span, and seems to plan out well-rounded strategies. Yeah, this group will be great heroes in no time..."
