Idea from ImagineIg

Your POV -.-

You slowly drifted out of your sleep, immediately becoming uneasy and shooting your eyes open, sitting up in your bed quickly, checking around and starting to panic and you didn't realize where you wer-

Oh.

You were at home. Home. That was a word you hadn't been able to use for a while... A while until now.

Just... Realizing. Realizing how lucky you were, not to get just one chance, but to get two.

You wondered how the family was, the one that you had loved but ran away from due to guilt, how they were doing.

Hopefully they had moved on, hopefully they were ok. Hopefully they didn't blame themselves for your running away, just hopefully.

Hoping, such an interesting thing. Something that humans were great at, something that's built into our minds.

It gives us something to hold onto, despite the fact that it might be a lie or not.

You lowered yourself carefully back down into your bed, letting a breath escape from your mouth, one you didn't know you had been holding in.

The unease that you awoke with every morning wouldn't go away easily, you knew that for sure.

Even though you were in a house that you trusted, a house filled with the people you considered family, you would still wake up and panic immediately, searching your hand around for your phone to make sure it hadn't gotten stolen, shooting up into a sitting position to make sure that you were in a place that you recognized.

You couldn't believe that this whole thing, this whole life, this whole new chapter in your life, everything, started just because you decided to sleep in that one place that one night and because Technoblade decided to take a midnight stroll.

If either of you would've done something different you would still be in the foster cares system, never having shared any of the laughs and said any of the... kinda fake death threats that you had today.

It was such an interesting thing, future, past, present. Such curious words, such mysterious topics.

The future holds mysteries, unsolved questions.

The present holds upbringings and confusing or scary topics.

The past holds regret and pain, sorrow sometimes, but also laughs and happy memories. It was such a bittersweet thing.

You understood each of these things well, the past, present, and future.

Your head hit your pillow once again and you finally acknowledged that your headphones were still on your head, as well as your phone next to you.
