Yashiro arrived at school early and rejected the other two

"Aoi-chan, do you know why Amane-kun is absent today?" She asked

"Unfortunately, no" she replied

"Where the hell is that donut lover boy anyway?" Akane asked

"He's about to miss something important in his life" his girlfriend gasped

"It's a shame that Amane-kun will not end up with Kou-kun though" she sighed sadly

"I'm sorry for taking away your partner in life, Kou-kun" she dramatically said

Lemon decided to prank Amane by saying Yashiro confessed to him earlier. Upon hearing this, his heart broke. He was absent earlier because he wanted to help his little brother pack his things. Tsukasa decided to study abroad and he decided to support him

"Tsukasa, can I come with you?" He asked

"Are you crazy? No!"

"What the- Why?"

"Why? What do you mean why? Are you planning on leaving Nene-niisan here alone?"

"She doesn't like me anyway. So, it doesn't matter" he stomped his way outside and went for a walk

"This dumbass" he called her and decided to tell his brother's plan

"I never said I rejected him in the first place. I didn't even have the chance to confess to him earlier" she said surprised

"You know my brother's a pain in the ass"

"Isn't that supposed to be his line?"

"Shush, Nene-niisan. If you want to stop him, he's probably heading to the park where you two usually play when you were kids"

Amane sat on the swing gloomily. He tightened his grip on the chains

"Arrghh! I'm so stupid" he yelled in frustration

"Damn right you are!" He stood up in surprise when he heard another voice besides his

"Yashiro, I didn't expect to see you here" he awkwardly laughed

"Why didn't you tell me that you were planning on going with Tsukasa in the States?"

"How'd you know that?"

"He told me everything"

"Damn. That rat just sold his brother" he cursed under his breath

"Tell me why you're going away without telling me?" She asked as she approached him

"Why would I bother telling you anyway?"

"Huh?" She was confused at his sudden change of behaviour

"Look. I know you've already chosen Lemon" he started

"What-"

"But!" He looked at her eyes

"But what?"

"Even if you don't look my way, my feelings for you won't change" he said determinedly

"Are you serious?" She asked while laughing

"W-what's funny?" He asked embarrassed

"Don't trample on my feelings like that" he crossed his arms

"Who said I chose Lemon?"

"Lemon did" he replied

"He was probably pranking you, Amane-kun"

"WHAT!?"

"You're so gullible, Amane-kun" she chuckled

"Stop laughing" he covered his face as his face turned red in embarrassment

"What did you say just now? That even if I don't look your way, your feelings for me won't change?" His face blazed even more upon hearing it

"Yosh! It's decided then!" She raised her fist up

"Huh?" He uncovered his face and look at her perplexed

"I'll give you half of my life if you give half of yours" she said enthusiastically

"Eh?"

Silence

Silence.....

Silence........

"Ehhh?! Is that your confession? You're confessing to me? You m-mean y-you like me back!?" He asked and he nodded

He was overjoyed and didn't think straight. He lifted her up and held her securely

"Amane-kun, that's quite bold of you" she smiled as she blushed deeply

"I'm sorry. I can put you down-"

"No!"

"No?" He sat down on the swing with her on his lap

"Because from now on, this is my favourite spot" they both laughed

Amber orbs met magenta ones. As they continued staring, the dark unending sky was splashed with colourful fireworks

"What a romantic night" he sighed and she laughed at him

"I love you so much, Yashiro"

"I wish there was another word for love but I love you as much as you love me, Amane-kun. So, don't you dare leave me behind. If you want to go to States, I'll come with you"

"I wasn't really going to the States though. I kinda said it without thinking" he smiled sheepishly

They continued watching the fireworks until she fell asleep in his arms. He stood up before covering her body and carried her. He continued walking back to their house but stopped for a second to watch the full moon

"There's no space big enough for how much I love you, Yashiro"
