Why Watch Someone Sleep?

After an eventful day, we all slept in our designated rooms, some people away from others. I had to make Seb sleep next to me, thankfully mine was a king sized bed, so I shoved Seb in a corner and threatened him not to cross the pillow boundary I made.

Although the last few days have been filled with fun and entertainment, at night when I'm all alone in the silence of my room my mind is invaded by my mothers presence. No matter what facade I put, my real emotions were always laced with grief and despair. With those emotions I'd slowly drift into a realm of darkness, however it wasn't.

She stood there illuminating light. Her presence enlightened this realm like a beacon. Her face was still hidden by the light, her body still a silhouette. Her hands were stretched in acceptance, but no matter how much I tried to reach out for her hands, they felt more and more distant. Distant to a point where I could only hear what she had to say.

'Why do you always think about me?' she started, her voice echoed in the distance, 'Who am I?' She asked me, 'Why won't you give me a face?' she finished, and faded. She took the light with her, imprisoning me in a cursed forever darkness.

I woke up.

There were no star decals to greet me this time, but there was one rather creepy looking Seb watching me.

"What are you doing?!" It was still really early for my shouting.

"You look cute while you're sleeping." Seb answered, his creepy smile still intact.

I borrowed one pillow from the border I had made, slowly walked away from his creepy smile and stood behind the door.

"No!" I shouted as I saw him advancing, "No, no! You stay!" I gestured with my hand. "I'll go out first" I frantically clutched my body, just to make sure if my clothes were all intact. They were. 'Crazy bastard! Who looks at someone when they're sleeping' I mumbled below my breath.

I passed Ronald's room, and saw that the door was still closed, so I continued to walk towards the living room where I saw Shawn sleeping peacefully on the olive sofa. What I didn't expect was seeing Grace looking at him while he was sleeping. She did have a pillow to defend herself if he woke up and somehow possessed a knife.

"What are you doing?" I slowly creeped behind her.

"Fuckin hell!" She screamed, making the cozy butler jerk awake.

"What were you doing?!" Shawn felt his body the same way I did a few minutes ago.

"The couple has gone rogue! They can't see each other so now they're attacking others! We have to be cautious!" I stated simply.

"I'll go warn Ronald!" Shawn rushed to his room.

"He... he looked really innocent while sleeping." Grace answered when I gave her the 'what the hell were you doing?' look.

"I'll just..." She left, still clutching her fists and scratching her head.

I sat on the olive green sofa when my phone rang, I looked at the caller which obviously turned out to be an unknown number. "It's Rumi, who am I speaking to?" I answered.

'Your death!' is what I imagined him say, "I'm Ralph, Madam Sasha's personal bodyguard. We met in the park the other day."

"Ah yes Ral- Sir! 'Devil eyes' " I should really stop imagining things. "What do I owe this 'Death penalty' plesure to?" It was really difficult to think straight. But I managed! I don't know how. But I did!

"Miss is going to wake up soon. It'll be helpful if you were to arrive before she wakes up. It's her humble request that you do 'if you don't i'll kill you with my bare hands' " he finished.

"Ye- yes... I was on my way sir!"

"Just call me Ralph." He disconnected.

"That son of a ahhhhhhhhh!" I jumped on the sofa.

"Someone's grumpy in the morning." I heard Ronald's voice before seeing him approach me.

"When you wake up, and the first thing you see is Seb's creepy smile... you just know your day isn't going to go well!" I grumbled.

"Huh... I hope you don't have to ever wake up with Shawn's face... Trust me!" He scoffed, shivered.

"Sorry, you had to go through that... but I really gotta go now, or else I won't be able to ever open my eyes."

I rushed to my room, slowly spying if Seb was still there or not, and quickly wore whatever I could get my hands on, which of course was my favorite; Black Turtleneck. I'd really love to get sponsored by H&M, imagine all the free clothes I could wear!

I got a cab and showed him the location Ralph sent me. Apparently it was a really famous Hotel near time square named 'Iroquois'. I waited for the cab to cross the bridge which separated time square from Long island city.

We reached the hotel, which greeted us with 4 flags, and instantly made me remind, suite life of Zach and Cody. The cab halted outside the hotel where a doorman swung open my cab door. The moment I got out I unintentionally locked eyes with Ralph. I shoved the doorman aside and got back in the cab. At the moment it felt like I was being attacked... which btw is really scary!

"Excuse me." I heard a woman's voice.

"Mom?"

"No I ain't your mom! It's me... Robin! The second twin? Remember?" She squealed in what felt like joy.

"My memory has become a bit hazy after our encounter, but I do remember you... you're one of the good horsemen. Please save me from that guy!" I pointed towards Ralph.

"C'mon... Rumi, Alex, the other good horseman, is waiting for you." She dragged me out of the cab and straightened my clothes.

I followed her to the lift, Either I was living in poverty, or I just was too damn blind, but the hotel was something that'd come out of a movie. A movie which includes Pegasus and pens turning into swords. We got in the huge elevator and stopped at the top floor. 'Aren't top floor penthouses?' I thought to myself. It surely was.

"Ahhh finally... Rumi, come here!" Alex, the other good horseman, called for me.

"Yes Ma'am!" If she hadn't had that sweet smile on, I'd have saluted her instead.

'You can just call me Alex, dear." she smiled, "Anyways... go in! She said that you will wake her up from now on." She winked.

'Kill me now!'

I entered the penthouse, and after 5 minutes of careful inspection and getting lost, I finally came to a conclusion; All the restrooms in here were the size of my room, back in Dakota! One was actually bigger, I could have fitted the other posters alongside my 'Winter is coming' poster!

I shifted my eyes towards a room which was filled with white curtains. I thrusted the curtains to get a better look of the room. At first glance I really thought it was a living room, but then I saw a white master bed and on it a figure shuffling beneath the sheets.

I sat next to her bed, when the sheets lowered and her pink Ombre hair escaped the sheets, I slowly brushed her hair away so I could see her face more profoundly.

I sat there looking at her sleep for what felt like an eternity. And then she opened her eyes.
