This is bad. Horrible. She's one of the best test subject's we've ever got. Are we seriously going to lose her now? Now is not the time. Despite the horror gnawing inside me, I managed to get out a "What are the results?" in my usual commanding manner.
"She's fine. Just a flashback." The medic was a terrible liar. But two can play at this game.
"One of the most important memories. Should we copy another version of the so-called {Octo Shades} that the idiotic gigantic-headed Octoling gave us? Oh, and if you have forgotten, 'Doctor' Ida Marina. You know I can destroy your little Houzuki Pearl friend. But knowing me for such a long time after being in the Deepsea Metro with us, Test Project 10008 and my 'dearest' friend CQ, you would know that I would not do that, and that I, instead, would use her against you."
Test Project 1 cowered away from my presence. We could estimate that she could not remember anything that had happened between us as we were so much younger. Until she was taken away from us. By whom identity I could not identify. We got her back in the end, but any memory of us or our time together seemed not to exist.
Marina Ida, you are by far the best test subject that we have come across.
