Sanitization Lab 00,001

Agent 4's pov

Even now, I was sure that I would set more traps. It somehow surprised me that there weren't any traps in the room - or, I should say, lab -  or, they could just be luring me into another trap.

Lab 00,099, Lab 00,100, Lab 00,101...

Why is it always me? Why always me who gets all the trouble?

Bad luck, I guess...

Lab 00,109, Lab 00, 110, Lab 00,111...

I looked behind. This is actually not a very good idea to execute when you are being chased by a army of corrupted octolings (and one inkling) but, in my case, the swarm of green and blue had practically disappeared. So, I was lucky for once! I was still pretty sure they were going to burst into my vision soon though, so I kept on running.

Lab 00,129, Lab 00,130, Lab 00,131...

Well, at least, that's what I thought. You know why? Because that exact swarm of blue and green came looming into my vision. So I started to run again. Only in the opposite direction.

Lab 00,101, Lab 00,100, Lab 00,099...

After a while, I found a vent. This confused me. No, not because of it's existence; because of where it was placed. I mean, who put vents on the ground? Well, anyway, I wasn't that much of an idiot, so I wrenched off the vent cover (Yes, I did it with brutal force), I went inside. 

"Search the room!" A harsh voice (should I even call it a voice anymore? It was more like screeching metal.) commanded. "Yes sir!"  The same, monotone voice sounded through the room.

Well, I was getting extremely curious if this really was a vent. In fact, it was more like the ewers. But, no matter how far this 'Tar Tar's' imagination can go, surely nobody would put sewers indoors, right? I was immediately proved wrong. Well, would you find salmonids in vents?

Luckily, I did Salmon Run shifts every so often. So, obviously, I knew how to defeat them. Well, there weren't any bosses, but there were Goldies. Will I really make this? All by myself? I thought.

Another extra-long chapter! Well, in my opinion. Because this chapter only consisted of 370
