   'Louis....Louis...'

A deep voice was whispering through the dark. Its sound was mixed with the muffled sounds of women laughing.
   'Lou...Wake up.'

I grunted and dazed I flickered my eyes open. Flashes that came from the tv lit up the room, as it was now the main light source. I fell asleep. All night I had watched cooking shows and a rerun of the tv show Friends. It wasn't like I was suddenly happy but it had lifted my mood substantially. I had felt normal for a while, instead of locked up god knows where. I yawned and felt a light shifting at the end of my bed, and a hand touching my leg. When I looked up I saw Harry, sitting there, at my feet, lightly shaking my leg.

'Hey...' Harry whispered through the dark and I saw his face changing from green to blue to white, the tv casting light onto his face. He looked at ease. His eyes were studying my face, a slight smile on his lips and for the first time since I got here, I actually felt safe, and somewhat excited to see another face.

   'What are you doing here?'
'Shhhh...' He shushed me, quickly looked back over his shoulder to check the hallway, before meeting my eyes again. 'I had to wait until everyone was asleep before I came here...'
I hoisted myself upto be at his height. Sort of at least. 'That doesn't answer my question.' I answered now quieter. Luckily, I fell asleep with my clothes on, so I still wore the jeans and t-shirt he got me. He was quiet for a moment and moved closer to me, reaching out his hand, Eyes fixating on my neck. Lightly he skimmed the skin, sending shivers down my spine. Not because of the pain, but because of the sudden closeness and the way he looked at me. He stared at the bruises and followed the pattern with his fingertips, making my breath hitch in my throat. The shadows made his features more rigid, and if they weren't so beautiful I'm sure he'd look intimidating. But I was past that point. After what he told me I felt a weird sense of security with him. I knew he did it to get me away from Father's abuse. Maybe he went about it all wrong but his intentions were pure.

He kept tracing the bruises and I felt my heart race more and more with every second he touched my skin. He must feel my heartbeat thumping under his fingers, right?
There was something so intimate about the way he touched me. So intimate about the way I let him touch the vulnerable part of me. Since when did I allow someone so close to me in this place? I stayed completely still, the tension only disturbed by the background murmur coming from the tv. When he brushed next to my ear in the crook of my neck I let out a gasp and closed my eyes.

'Right. I wanted to take you out of this room for a bit.' As if he had burned himself, Harry retracted his hand and shuffled back to the bed end. 'You gotta stay quiet though alright?'
'Y-Yeah...sure.' My eyes fluttered open. Confused I watched him get up and fumble the key card out of his front pocket.
'Come on then.' He held out his hand and still warily I took it. He hoisted me out of the bed and as soon as I stood on my feet he dropped my hand again.

I wished he had held my hand longer...

Quickly I shook my head to get rid of the thought. What was I thinking? This man had kidnapped me, locked me up in a cell! It must've been the solitude that made me go slightly insane.
'Are you alright?' Harry whispered to me, eyeing me up and down. He probably had noticed my internal struggle.
   'Yes. Let's go.'

We were walking in a forest. I had no idea where they'd held me but this made sense. I had heard people talking about this place. Liam once told me that a girl went here and that when she came back, she got a fever and her skin started to melt off of her muscles. I called it bullshit right then and there due to the gory details, but he was quite persistent. Apparently, everyone at school was talking about it. I didn't quite take it seriously though. I knew how fast rumours spread through that school, and they were almost never right. It did however kept me from going here, even though I always had a weird yearning to scout out this place. It was something about the seclusion of it all, no one daring to come there, what made it interesting.
Right now, my skin was still attached to my bones and Harry didn't seem to worry about possible fevers at all so I most likely was right about it being bullshit.
