"I have to go now," said Chrollo, from what Lihbi remembered from a few minutes prior. After laying out her sorrows on the man that she loves, she wasted their time together, and burdened her feelings on him. She had now decided to push the feelings away, she was still slightly shaken up, but she couldn't deal with it now; she had a job to do.
It had been a few moments of her strolling around the bar looking for her associates, as well as the rest of the guards. To her surprise she found them lying on the bar stools of a now slightly empty bar, taking shots with a lonely bartender. Lihbi took a seat next to them curious as to why they were drinking on a job. Rior waves over to her, her hair slightly disheveled and lipstick smudged.
"Where have you been, I got information on the auction and those guards left, said something about a kidnapping or some sort," she said.
"Kidnapping?" questioned Lihbi, with a raised eyebrow.
Kiro put his hands up, "We didn't do anything, I swear."
"Yeah, I believe the blond man had his boss taken, or they snuck out, something like that," commented Huro.
"Kurapika," added Rior.
"HUh," asked Huro.
"The blond is Kurapika, dumbass," teased Kiro.
"Oh, him," remembered Huro.
"So what was it you found out?" Lihbi asked, getting to the point.
"OH YEAH," exclaimed Rior, "Well, from this clown looking dude, he was kind of hot not going to lie, but he basically said that all of the eyes at this auction are going to be fakes, so he said not to get them."
Lihbi's pupils dilated slightly as she internally scolded herself for forgetting such an important fact. She remembers Chrollo telling her the details of his job, of how he was going to stage the spider's deaths, then proceed to make fake copies of all the auction items, sell them, and then steal the real ones. This was the plan that he devised while they were together, and she forgot it in the course of a week.
"Did you by any chance tell Kurapika?" asked Lihbi, with hopeful eyes.
Rior stroked her chin for a few moments, as if trying to remember.
Kiro interrupted and said, "Nah, probably not, I think Rior was still flirting with the clown."
The auction was meant to be held this evening, she pinched the bridge of her nose and bid farewell to her associates and started on her way outside to call Kurapika. It wasn't like she could change that the clown person couldn't give information any quicker; the only thing she could do now was to call Kurapika and inform him.
After the series of many rings, it went to voicemail, "God damnit Kurapika, pick up just this once."
Lihbi tried again and again, yet she couldn't get a hold of him at all, every single call going to voicemail, so she decided to take it upon herself to find him. She knew that he was at the auction and definitely around there, as his boss most likely would have gone missing around there.
She stepped into her car and started the engine, as the car started to warm up Lihbi attempted to reach Kurapika once again, but to no avail. So instead she considered the rest of her options, she could track Kurapika; or, by using her own judgement to guess where he might be. Deciding the latter would be the best option, she guessed he would be most likely at the cemetery building. The auction was taking place at the cemetery building, which she had remembered from the previous planning with Chrollo.
Her head rested on his chest as he went on and on about in the security of their little haven. The fire provided warmth the couple shared, and the small plush couch with their bodies entangled across it. Chrollo's head faced the ceiling while Lihbi listened and added occasional commentary along with.
