Once I got home I set my bike in the back, and got to the front step of my house. I slowly walked in and shut the door quietly. I saw my parents sitting at the table with dinner. I could tell by their faces they were worried.
" Hey-"
" Where have you been?" my mom interrupted.
" Hey? What do you mean where have I been. I was at the beach, and then I went to a smoothy stand with my friends-" I said
" You met friends? What's their names!!" my mom once again interrupted but with a more positive attitude.
" STOP INTERRUPTING!!" I yelled "Their names are Emily and David. Anyways, guess what!?"
"What?" they asked.
" I'm going up learn to swim with Sharks!" I said.
" NO YOU AINT!!" my mom yelled as she went to go put a dish away.
" Now, come on. It would pretty cool to see our daughter swim with sharks, don't you think?" my dad said to my mom.
" No it won't! She will get seriously get hurt!" my mom said
" I'm joining, mom. Okay? You took my good life back in California and made me move to Hawaii. I'm trying to make friends and start a new hobby. Why can't you just support me?" I asked.
My mom now had tears in her eyes. She got up and ran to her room. My dad got up and followed. I felt bad. I didn't mean to hurt her feelings but, come on. It would be pretty cool to learn how to swim with the giants. I went up to my room, and got ready to go to bed. I laid in bed and thought of my little friend back home. This risk, was for her. Not for me. I closed my eyes, and fell asleep. I opened my eyes one last time, but before I closed my eyes, I saw something. Emily.
