The Shark Fighter-part 8

My trainer took me into a room filled with posters. I saw many other things in there, like shark skeleton, teeth, books and other items. I saw a little shrine built for someone who had died doing this type of thing. There was actually a list of names of people who had died. A gulped and walked on. The trainer told me to sit at a desk and say down with me .

" Now ms. Lily, my name is Rob. But you will address me as Mr.Rob. Before you even touch one drop of water where the sharks are held, you will need to learn all the parts of the sharks. But the most important question I'm about to ask you is, are you willing to risk your life, and everything you have for something worth trying?" Mr.Rob asked

I looked at him and gave a thought to that question. I looked back at him and answered," Yes Sir!"

" Good. Now here is a book. I want you to read chapters one through five and when you come back here tomorrow, you will tell me five facts about the shark that you learn, got it?" he asked

" Yes." I whispered

I put the book in my backpack and rode home. I saw my parents eating some lunch. While eating lunch, I got a call from Emily and David. They wanted to meet me down by the beach. So I headed off again to the beach. They asked me If I wanted to go to a fair tonight. I said sure with the biggest smile ever. Emily gave me a look, a look of like " Ouuuu! " I was still confused though. So I went back home where I got ready. While I was getting ready I got a text from Emily.

It said:

" You like David! Don't you?"

"What, pshh. No.." I answered

" Ya you do!"

" no, I don't."

" Hehe ok ;) see you tonight."

I thought for a little bit. I hardly knew him. Could I actually like " like" him?
