Once I got to the ladder, I looked up and started to climb. Dashavu started to kick in immediately. I got in the water and swam around for a while. I went underwater hoping I wouldn't get hurt. I looked at the timer I had three minutes. How could I impress judges with a shark? Then I got an idea. I first have got to make the shark mad, probably a bad idea but, it had to do. I went and touched the shark's tale, and that made the shark mad quick. I swam for the top, for air, but also for my plan. I went up and down in till the shark started to follow. I went up for air and then my plan had worked. The shark swam up, missing me With his mouth, he lifted me out of the water with his nose and in the air I was. When I was in the air, I saw everybody clapping, and on their feet! But then I realized what do I do now with the shark? I landed right back in the water, and my first instinct was to get out.I headed for the ladder when I saw the shark right behind me. I jumped out of the tank missing the ladder, and at the right moment the shark came up for a bite. All my friends and family came and helped me up. They all were amazed at what I did. I went and sat with my friends. There were two contestants left, so I had to wait. After ten minutes, it was Time for the judges to announce the winners.
" Thank you for joining this contest. All of you are honored for your bravery. Third place goes to contestant number 3! Second place goes to contestant number 15, and last but not least... The grand place goes to contestant number.... Number 18!!"
I opened my eyes with amazement. I won? I won! I ran up and claimed my prize. I went back to my friends, and everyone gave a group hug.
" Aww man,this this is awesome! Only if Shilow was here... "I said
" Good job Lily! Your a legend! The youngest person ever to win first place!" Emily said
With a smile we headed home. I arrived home and put the trophy on my dresser. I saw something underneath my dresser. It was a note, From inside the letter. I opened it up and read it.
" When you think you have no chance of living, you must fight for your life"
And with a smile, " I did. I did."
