Johnny's POV:

God is she lovely, I thought to myself. Y/n L/n, the prettiest girl there was in Tulsa. Her gorgeous e/c eyes, her h/l  h/c flowing in the wind effortlessly, her contagious laugh and smile never failed to make my shitty days better.

But the only problem is that she has no clue who the hell I am, nor does she care. I've debated more than once on going up to her and saying hi, but decided against it, knowing I'd probably just embarrass myself.

She deserves someone better, someone big and tough to protect and provide for her. Pretty much everything opposite of me. Man, only in a perfect world could she be mine..

I was so lost in though admiring her that I didn't even notice her walking closer to me. It was only when I heard her voice, sounding angelic as ever, talking to me. "𝐇𝐞𝐲! 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭? 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐝𝐞?", she asked, breaking me out of my trance. I looked up at her face, seemingly glowing with every movement.

I felt myself begin to shake lightly with anxiety before responding quietly, "𝖴-𝗎𝗁𝗆 𝗒𝖾𝖺𝗁, 𝗂𝗍 𝗂𝗌. 𝖠𝗇𝖽 𝗒𝗈𝗎𝗋 𝖸/𝗇 𝖼𝗈𝗋𝗋𝖾𝖼𝗍?" I asked, despite knowing that it was her name. "𝐘𝐮𝐩! 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐦𝐞, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐟 𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐛𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐛𝐞 𝐠𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞-𝐢𝐧? I looked at her in shock, holy shit. The girl of my dreams was really asking me out on a date. "𝖸-𝗒𝖾𝖺𝗁, 𝗒𝖾𝖺𝗁! 𝖲𝗈𝗎𝗇𝖽𝗌 𝗀𝗋𝖾𝖺𝗍 𝗍𝗈 𝗆𝖾, 𝗂𝗌 𝗍𝗁𝖾𝗋𝖾 𝖺 𝖿𝗂𝗅𝗆 𝗉𝗅𝖺𝗒𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝗍𝗁𝖺𝗍 𝗒𝗈𝗎 𝗐𝖺𝗇𝗍𝖾𝖽 𝗍𝗈 𝗌𝖾𝖾? 𝖨'𝗆 𝗉𝗋𝖾𝗍𝗍𝗒 𝗆𝗎𝖼𝗁 𝖿𝗋𝖾𝖾 𝖺𝗇𝗒𝗍𝗂𝗆𝖾, 𝗌𝗈 𝗐𝖾 𝖼𝖺𝗇 𝗀𝗈 𝗐𝗁𝖾𝗇𝖾𝗏𝖾𝗋 𝗒𝗈𝗎𝗋 𝖿𝗋𝖾𝖾, 𝗒𝖺 𝖽𝗂𝗀?". I watched as her eyes lit up, her smile beamed before she spoke again.

"𝐎𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞! 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 7:30 𝐰𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞? 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐗 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐦.". Wow, this is really gonna happen, man Dallas will probably die of shock when he hears about this. "𝖠𝗅𝗋𝗂𝗀𝗁𝗍𝗒 𝗍𝗁𝖾𝗇, 𝗂𝗍'𝗌 𝖺 𝖽𝖺𝗍𝖾?"

She gave me a look that read, is it not obvious?. "𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐡, 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭. 𝐎𝐡-' she paused to pull out a small pen and paper, '𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. 𝐒𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐚 '𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭!". She handed me the small slip of paper before giving me a quick kiss on the cheek and running off somewhere.

At first I sat there in shock, placing my hand gently over the spot where her soft lips once were, before looking down and unfolding the paper. I looked at it in shock, holy shit man, it was her phone number. I just got a girls number, I thought to myself, I just got Y/n L/n's number!

I scrambled up off the park bench and began quickly heading towards the Curtis house. God I can't wait for Friday, I thought, fumbling slightly with the small scrap of paper as I continued walking.
