"Here they go again." Veronica exclaimed with a loud sigh. Everyone followed her gaze, towards the source of her annoyance. Although it was quite clear just by her words - by 'they' she meant you, Toni and Cheryl.
Ever since the three of you announced your relationship your public displays of affection became more frequent and at times even intense. Everything from hand holding to always touching and kissing plus sitting on each others laps, your happiness was enough to drive every single and miserable person jelous.
As time passed your friends began to feel annoyed too.
"Don't get me wrong-" Veronica began. "-I am happy for them, especially for Y/N." The rest of the group nodded along. "But it's just too much. It's like their hands are glued together."
She crossed her arms and continued to look at the three of you. You were in the middle. Cheryl was on your left. Her hand was holding yours, fingers tightly intertwined. Toni was on your right with your right arm wrapped tightly around her waist, pulling her close.
"They're practically married to one another." Archie said throwing a tater tot into his mouth. "I think it's nice." He added and looked at his girlfriend.
"It's just too much." Betty said in Veronica's defense.
You glanced in the direction of your friends. They were lost in conversation, obviously about your relationship.
Archie noticed you looking and waved his arm. A goofy smile was now spread across his face. "Cut the PDA guys!" He yelled out jokingly. "My girlfriend is jealous." He added and laughed as Veronica nudged his arm.
