Instead of meeting for a milkshake at Pops' like you usually did, your friends opted for a trip to the Wyrm. There was no reason behind the switch up, they just wanted a change of scenery and you thought; 'why the hell not'.

That began your not so typical Saturday night.

The White Wyrm was presenting its usual lurking charm from the moment you stepped inside. A stench of sweat mixed with old man booze hit immediately and you couldn't help but let out a small cough. The dim lighting made it hard to see anyone in the distance so you huddled closely behind your friends to an empty table.

The boys went to get drinks while the girls eagerly giggled for what they planned to be an "amazing night".

'If you wanted this to be amazing you chose the wrong place.' — You thought as you looked around, trying to spot at least one more familiar face in a sea of Serpents.

Your eyes landed on the infamous king himself and to your pleasant surprise he was already looking in your direction. He smirked when you locked eyes making your tummy turn. You excused yourself, not that your friends were paying attention anyway, and as if in a trance walked towards the handsome Serpent.

"What's a pretty girl like you doing in a dusty place like this?" FP asked with a nonchalant smile on his face. You could feel your cheeks flush red hot at the way he called you "pretty".

"Not having a good time." You tried to joke, hoping he would laugh at the desperate attempt. FP eyed you curiously as he chuckled. "We should change that then." He replied smoothly, the smile never leaving his cheeks.

The older Serpent downed the rest of his drink and took your hand, leading you through the crowd towards a pool table. You tried to play it cool but in reality your heart was racing.

There was no denying FP was a handsome man. He had tousled dark hair, which effortlessly outlined his features. His eyes were a mesmerising deep wood brown, one cold glare could have your knees trembling. His face was clearly defined, strong.

You couldn't help but blush which made him smile again. He clearly enjoyed the effect he had on you.

"Have you played before?" He grabbed a cue stick as you shook your head meekly. There was a brief moment of silence between the two of you in which FP looked you up and down not so subtly. You tried to keep calm when in fact your knees were shaking.

"Teach me." You finally said breaking the quiet. FP's eyes wondered back up to meet yours. He grinned from ear to ear and handed you the cue stick. "With pleasure."

The next hour spent by the pool table was quite frankly something you will never forget.

His hand was gently caressing your back as he helped you position the cue stick. FP leaned down, his hot breath hit your ear sending a tingle down your spine. "Now shoot."

The ball spiralled across the table, missing. You sighed in frustration as FP stood up straight and snickered. "A worthy first try gorgeous." He joked.

"I'll beat you yet." "We'll see about that." He replied smoothly and winked while taking the cue stick from you. He took a perfect shot which you rolled your eyes at. He stepped towards you and smiled chivalrously. "That's how it's done sweetheart."

Your hands touched as you reached to take the cue stick from him. You could feel your cheeks were red hot as the handsome Serpent looked down at you, closing in all space between you.

"Your turn." His hot breath hit your lips. The tingling feeling that overpowered your thoughts was wrong on so many levels. Not only was FP old enough to be your dad, he was Jugheads dad. You have known the man since you were a little girl and yet you couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to kiss him.

Hesitantly, you took the cue stick in your hands and positioned yourself at the table. FP noticed the trembling and slowly walked over to you.

He placed one hand on your lower back and the other aligned with yours on the cue stick. "Relax." He breathed. "I got you baby girl."

Your breath caught in your throat as he helped you make the shot, the perfect shot for that matter. Your eyes glistened with excitement as a light squeal escaped your lips. "I did it!"

The stick fell to the ground and you jumped in your spot, you jumped into FP's arms hugging him tightly.

When the excitement fell and reality hit you pulled away slowly. "Sorry." You whispered meekly. "That's just never happened before. I've never been good at bar games."

"Don't be sorry pretty lady." The brooding Serpent smiled. "I quite enjoyed that."

You couldn't help but smile back.

"My win or the hug?" You raised an eyebrow, not really noticing that your fingers were lightly playing with his hair and his hand was still on your back.

"Both." He replied smoothly and leaned in, placing a soft kiss on your cheek making them once again flush red.
