[ renjuns pov ]
"r-renjun..?"
i looked forward to see a girl, she's probably the one who bumped into me. but how does she know my name?
"uh, i'm sorry but, do i know you?" she looked surprised by my comment, "do you not remember me? it's me! sooyoung!" she's a really smiley person i see, it looks nice on her.
but sooyoung... that name sure does sound familiar.
"does kang sooyoung ring a bell..?"
then it hit me.
"SOONIE?!"
"yes! it's me injunie!" man, i always loved it when she called me that. "it's been so long! we should really catch up some time."
i almost didn't respond because i was bewildered at how pretty she's gotten.
has she always been this pretty?
after that short blank out, i finally replied. "o-oh yea! we should totally hang out together."
"alright, then what about after school?" i was thinking about it and was about to agree, until i remembered that i had a mission to complete.
"sorry, i don't think i'm free. how about sometime during the weekend?" i felt bad for turning her down, i really did miss her but the mission was more important at the time.
"oh yea that works! and no need to be sorry about it, i also forgot that i have detention after school for sleeping in anyways, hehe.." cute.
"mk, then where and what time? does 3 pm on saturday at the neo cafe work for you?" i saw her have a questioning look, probably thinking if she's free or not. "yup! that should be good." i nodded and asked for her number so we could keep in touch. after saving each other's contacts, soonie spoke up.
"i have to go now because my friends are waiting for me, see you later injunie!~" i waved as a way to say goodbye then turned around and walked back to where my friends were after i saw her run towards the cafeteria. i definitely wasn't expecting to meet soonie again after years at this school. transferring here was definitely a good decision.

[ sooyoungs pov ]
"hey guys! i'm back." was the first thing i said when i sat down at the table my gang was at. "heyy what took you so long? you were gone for a while." right, i was gone for a little longer than i was planning. "sorry, i accidentally bumped into someone i used to know, so it took a while." i spoke while answering yunas question.
"alright then," ryujin started while nodding. "here, we bought some food for you while waiting." she slid a tray with bibimbap on it towards me. "aww thanks, i'll make sure to pay you back some day." ryujin scoffed, crossing both her arms and legs. "yea, you better." i smiled cheekily at her, hinting that i may or may not forget about that deal in the future. after sending me a playful death glare, we moved onto a new subject to talk about.
