Chapter 9

Osamu had been gone the whole weekend. He started his heat Friday and it was currently Monday. Suna and Osamu haven't been to work since the heat started and turns out Sakusa was okay with it.

Atsumu had gotten closer to Oikawa and they became besties. They did everything together and were chaotic. They went on !missions together to steal from someone.

They were currently on a mission at the moment. They had to steal a light red diamond from behind security. Atsumu stretched before slipping past the lasers and pressing the button. Oikawa dropped in and lifted the box.

Suddenly the alarms screamed. Security guards ran in closing the two in.

"RUN" Atsumu screamed and watched as Oikawa pressed the button on his belt pulling himself up. Once he was out Atsumu rushed to the diamond and grabbed the black box it was in.

Guards backed Atsumu into the wall and tried to take the mask off him.

"It's been fun playing with you guys~ Bye now" Atsumu ran towards the window and jumped out. Glass shattered around him causing another alarm to go off. He landed on bags of trash before rolling off and running to the getaway car that was being driven by Tendou.

Once he was in he ripped his fox mask off and opened the black box. He showed Oikawa the diamond and they cheered. Once they got to the base Atsumu took the diamond and walked up to Sakusa's room.

He heard chatter and Sakusa angrily shout. He could smell that the other person was an alpha. The door opened and a man walked out. He had black hair that was pushed up like a rooster and yellow eyes. They made eye contact and Atsumu felt his world stop. Fear covered him as the alpha walked past.

Once the man was out of sight Atsumu knocked on the door to Sakusa's room and heard a 'come in'. The voice still gave Atsumu chills even though he's been working there for a while. Excitement bubbled in his gut as he quickly threw the door open and walked it.

"Mission was a success but we ran into some trouble" Atsumu said quietly and walked over to the alphas desk. He placed the diamond box on the desk and opened it.

"What type of trouble??" Sakusa asked. He grabbed the diamond and pulled it out the box. He brought it to himself and eyed it.

"getting the diamond triggered the alarms and we were.surrounded by people. I made sure Oikawa got out before grabbing the diamond." Atsumu explained. He saw Sakusa stop his movement and looked up.

"how'd you get out?" He asked now noticing the small spots of blood dripping from Atsumu's face and clothes

"I jumped out a window" he answered honestly. Sakusa put the diamond on the floor before getting up and walking to Atsumu. He placed his gloved hand on Atsumu's face and wiped the drop of blood.

They locked eyes and Atsumu felt his heart skip a beat.

"How did you know you were gonna land on something that wouldn't kill you?" He asked, forcing Atsumu to sit on the chair in front of his desk.

"I didn't.. I could've totally died but as long as I got the diamond out I was okay with that. I'll die for you if I have to." Atsumu said quietly. Sakusa was cleaning the wound with an alcohol pad before checking for glass. He pulled out a small piece of glass and put a bandaid on the cut.

"You'll die for me?" Sakusa finally asked. Atsumu nodded and winced at the pressure being applied to another wound.

"Yes. I'd kill and I'd die all for you"

Sakusa nodded slowly before putting his hand on the same spot it was before. They made eye contact again and Atsumu twitched. The room was covered in Sakusa's scent. It was like a drug to him. His black eyes stared directly into Atsumu's caramel ones.

"Sorry. You're dismissed" He grumbled moving away from the Omega. He sat back at his throne like chair and watched as Atsumu got up but didn't leave.

"Umm... What do I call you?" Atsumu asked quietly. He remembered Oikawa telling him to never call the boss by his name.

"you can call me Sakusa unless you'd rather calling me daddy" Sakusa answered with a smirk. His eyes held a glint of tease as he watched Atsumu flush red and tug at the collar around his neck.

"Okay... Sakusa" Atsumu mumbled before rushing out. When the door closed Atsumu let out a breath he didn't know he was holding as he slid down the wall. He took a few moments to catch his breath that was caught in his throat.

He turned to the door and whispered

"What the hell is going on with me"
