Alec: You should have told me Shane.
He stands up and walks round the empty warehouse, his phone goes off once again
Alec: tell me how you found us now because you'll be going.
I remain silent and he punches me in the stomach again and everything goes black
Lisa POV:
I see Shane unconscious in the chair whiles the other man comes walking outside again on his phone. I move nearer to hear some of the conversation. "How long will it be before you arrive because he won't stay unconscious for long" Someone's coming here to take Shane away
"Yeah, he's knocked out now just come and collect him" I walk round the side of the building until Shanes straight ahead of me, I notice Shane a wake again and looking around. The other guy walks in again
Shane POV:
"You'll be going soon, " he punches me in the stomach again and I pass out for a few minutes. I slowly wake up again and hear him on the phone talking about taking me away. He ends the call and walks over to me.
Alec: "hi Shane you will be going now."
I look around to see any way to get out of the rope, He pulls out the knife that he left in my leg.
"You'll be in very good hands." he walks off once more, this time to look outside. I see someone move round the rear of the building.
Lisa POV:
Shane finally looks in my direction. He try's his hardest to smile while blood drips down his cheek, I whisper "I'll be there in a minute," I go to stand up and feel a gun placed against my head.
"Oh, hello Lisa nice to at last meet you after learning so much about you" I stand up as slowly as I can
"Who are you and why did you tie my husband to that chair," how can I get out of this situation
"You don't really need to know me, but I'm surprised your husband hasn't told you about me yet because of our long past together" I look over at shane he looks frightened as if his whole life is going to end
"We'll all I know is you have missed with the wrong couple" I move to hit the gun out his hand but miss
"Oh, you're feisty aren't you, you picked a good one here shane" He shouts and moves backgrounds, he points the gun for me to walk round the building which I do. He takes hold of a chair and places next to Shanes "what can we get out of you then," he keeps the gun out pointing at both me and Shane
Shane POV:
He places the gun in the back of his pocket, kneels down and moves right up to Lisa's face. "You harm one hair on her head, I swear" I move my arms, but it does nothing "oh look at you being all protective. You maybe should have stayed away, you might not have ended up in this mess" he looks back at Lisa "may I say you smell lovely" I throw him a dirty look. He stands back up and turns round, Lisa reaches for the gun, but Alec already has his hand on it "you want this gun," he looks back at her and waves the gun in her face "unfortunately I can't give it because you know you probably want to shoot me"
Lisa POV:
As he continues to wave the gun in my face for a split second he looks away, then I hit the gun out of his hand and pick it up. I point the gun against his head, "untie Shane" I hold the gun at his head and he speaks "you know you shouldn't actually be doing this since I have back up coming "I reach down to my phone" thanks for reminding me I need to tell them where we're". I phone for back up and put the phone down the random guy finally unties Shane. I move closer to Shane "you'll be alright" he smiles which turns into a frown "wait Lisa he's getting away" I turn round and see him running I try shooting him, but hit the door instead "we'll catch him later, right now you're more important" I wipe some of the blood off his face and we stand up, we slowly walk over to the stairs outside and I sit him down.
Shane POV:
Back up finally appears they check if I need any help which I do, they bandage me up and then clean the area. Lisa sits next to me and clean some of the blood off my face with a rag.
Lisa: "why did you leave early this morning I'm your partner not only in real life, but in work too" she gives me a worried look
Shane: "because I didn't want you involved with this man I know his past" I look at her with sorrow in my eyes
Lisa: "Shane, we're husband and wife we tell each other everything, why didn't you tell me about this is guy I still don't know his name" Her voice becomes a little louder as she talks and stops wiping my face
Shane: I didn't want you to know about that part of my past, it's my past it shouldn't affect you. He affected my life in a bad way I don't want him to affect ours. He used to be my best friend and now he's my worst enemy" my voice becomes soft hoping she would understand but she grows angry as I talk
Lisa: "Shane you need to tell me everything, especially since we're in this business hiding things from each other is never a good thing. Otherwise, how are we going to have a healthy relationship and have a family, we agreed to tell each everything" her voice continues to get louder at this point she is yelling
Shane: "Lisa be quite everyone's looking at us and I do tell you everything just not the stuff that could hurt you"
Lisa: "we help each other you can't just keep certain things secret shane" her face is becoming red
Shane: I didn't want you to get hurt end of story why are you getting so angry"
Lisa: she shouts at the top of her lungs "because I might be pregnant, " she repeats quietly "I might be pregnant".

Sorry for the cliffhanger again is it obvious I like them but a side from that, thank you all so much for reading my fanfic I now have over 600 reads which I didn't think I would get anywhere close to that. this was originally for me to torture my best friend but I'm so glad you're all reading it and enjoying it too
