Chapter 7: I Love You

SHANE'S POV:

I wake up and notice Lisa's still next to me, I look at the time on my phone, it's 11 in the morning "you're usually up and about now" I give her a quick kiss on her forehead.

Lisa: "I wanted to spend a little extra time in bed," she snuggles up to my chest and I wrap my arms around her.

Shane: "how's my face looking today," she looks up at me.

Lisa: "a lot better than yesterday," she snuggles back into my chest.

Shane: "good, because I wanted to update our video diary today, you up for it"

Lisa: "yeah, sure" we snuggle together for a good half an hour until corny comes in and jumps all over us.

Shane: "Ok corny we're getting up" I stroke corny's head and get out of bed, changing into some lazy clothes and fill up corny's bowl. I sit down on the couch and watch whatever garbage is on the TV. A couple minutes later, Lisa comes walking out of the bedroom with her lazy clothes on too and sits next to me on the couch "you want to do the video diary now so we have the rest of the day to go out or just relax."

Lisa: "sure" she gets up and walks slowly toward the office. I Turn off the TV and stand up and run up behind her

Shane: "hurry up" I slap her bottom lightly and start tickling her.

Lisa: "ow," she shouts and runs into the office we set up the camera and sit down on the couch, Lisa moves a little closer to me and I put my arm around her, I press record.

Shane: "hi future us I'm guessing if you're watching this we are still going strong because I want to spend my life with her." I look at Lisa and give her a quick kiss and look back at the camera "I want to talk more about us again like our previous partners... Well your previous partners, everyone who had a crush on me and how hard it was hiding feelings for each other" I look at Lisa "which should we talk about first."

Lisa: "let's talk about 'trying' to hide our feeling for each other first," she used quotation marks, which was so cute.

Shane: "Well, one of my favorites was when I went crazy because I thought you didn't love me at all" I smiled at her and she smiled back.

Lisa: "oh yeah, you went into a deep hole then," she gives a cute little laugh.

Shane: "I'll start the story, it was actually a pretty good day until I went down to castle and found you and Tom, or as I know him a very hot British guy."

-*4 Years ago*-

I walk down into castle and hear Lisa laughing.

Shane: I pull Lisa aside "why is this..... Well hot British guy here Lisa" I am as quiet as possible to make sure he doesn't hear.

Lisa: "he's only going to be here a couple of hours until he flys back to England this was only a refuel spot," she gives me a reassuring smile but I don't believe it.

Shane: "Well, you two seem to get along very well don't you, when i came down I heard you laughing at his jokes and him getting closer to you" I frown at her.

Lisa: "Shane theirs nothing going on between me and him he's only been here for maybe half an hour tops and won't be here very much longer now" she looks back at him then to me.

Shane: well you two seem to be getting on very well together hope you two have a great life" I storm out I feel her grab my hand, but I shake her hand off, walking past the Britsh guy and up the stairs.

-*at home*-

I walk through the door, throwing my keys on the side and sit on the couch I guess I'll just binge watch TV that'll make me a little happier it can't make me any worse.

After a couple of hours of watching far too many TV shows about eating and people falling in love I can't stop thinking about Lisa.

She's forever in my thoughts, just how beautiful she is and how she can always make me laugh, I picture her cute laugh and just smile, stop it shane you'll make yourself worse. I grab a bottle of liquor from the cupboard, play a random playlist on Spotify which ends up playing love songs and just sit on my wooden floor. Why do I even like Lisa she doesn't even like me, I'm an idiot after all. Half an hour passes and I wonder why Lisa doesn't love me, I'm not good enough for her why do I even think she likes me I hear a knock on the door.

Shane: "hi who is it kinda busy here."

Lisa: "Shane, are you drunk?" I don't want her to see me like this, this is the worst me.

Shane: "no Lisa go away" I hear her wiggle the door handle and it opens.

Lisa: "I'm coming in," she walks over to me and looks down at me whiles I sit on the floor "what are you doing Shane."

Shane: "what does it look like Lisa" I pull the bottle closer to me but she takes it off me.

Lisa: "you look like a mess shane you need to clean yourself up."

Shane: "why I don't have to go anywhere to see anyone."

Lisa: "I don't like seeing you like this shane you're so much better than this."

Shane: "why do you care so much Lisa you don't even love me" I go red straight away and look away from Lisa why did I say that and with the non stop love songs playing in the background makes the awkward silence a little less silent but even more awkward.

Lisa: "Shane That's where you're wrong, I loved you when we went on our first fake date together and when we had our first very awkward, but passionate kiss together" she sits down next to me and I stare into her eyes. She leans forward and grabs my hand.

Shane: I stare into her eyes, "I love you Lisa."

Lisa: "I love you too Shane" she leans in first and I then follow we kiss long and passionately I move my hand to caresser cheek whiles super bass suddenly plays in the background.

-*Present Day *-

I stand up and turn the camera off I look at the time on my phone, it's 2pm "you just want to go walk around for a bit and then go grab some lunch"

Lisa: "yeah, sure I don't really care today it's up to you."
