*HARRY'S POV*

I walk slowly into the room, my eyes cast down carefully on the cake in my hand. I smile as I look at Louis' album's name in its signature wavy pattern written four times over on the cake. The candles are emitting a warm, faint glow in the room and the cheers of the guests become louder as I walk in with the cake. It's the night of the album launch and the spirits are higher than cloud 9 in the room.

We didn't want to have too many guests over. Just a few close friends of ours in the industry and the boys joining us via face-time since they couldn't be here in person.

I look up to find Louis smiling at me; his cheeks tinted because of all the attention he's getting, and I finally set down the giant cake on the table in front of him. He beckons me across the table and I walk around it to stand behind him as he cuts the cake; a small, proud smile still playing on his lips.

I smile down at the sight of his face, feeling more proud of him than I have ever been. Lou has been through so much during the very prime of his life, and there's no denying the fact that it set him back in the process. But he persevered through it all and he came out stronger than ever.

I am proud beyond words right now and all I can manage to do is grin from ear-to-ear as our friends cheer him on and he laughs. He turns around with a small piece of the cake in his hand and holds it in front of my mouth.

I take a bite and mirror the action, before he does the same for all the friends around us. I take the cake away, the helpers we hired for the night helping me take it into the kitchen and I walk back out, relieved that we hired them because I don't want to steer away from Louis for even a minute tonight, or ever for that matter.

The speakers are currently playing an instrumental version of Always You and all our friends are vibing in tune to the song. I smile at the memory of Louis telling me that he wrote this the night after Eleanor's birthday in Amsterdam when she insisted him on going to a gay bar, just for the hell of it.

I still remember the shock on my face when I found out that they went there on Eleanor's suggestion, but I was happy that she was supporting our relationship instead of just being annoyed about it over the years. I had grown to quite like Eleanor over the years, and I am pretty sure we'll always be on good terms even after Louis and I come out to the world; which wasn't that far away if all things went as per plan.

The only thing I am not happy about right now is that Louis still hasn't let me listen to the album. Even when I put into action my strongest weapons of making a puppy face and trying to seduce him into letting me listen to the songs, he didn't budge.

He reckons that this album is a birthday gift for me and he will only let me listen to it when the entire world listens to it – at the time of the release – and as romantic as that may be, my curiosity is starting to get the best of me and I have had enough of the waiting.

I walk up to Louis and wrap my arms around his shoulders, immediately nuzzling my head into his neck.

"Hello, there." He says as he laughs and rests his hands on mine.

"Hi, babe."

"Are you excited to listen to the actual song, Hazza?"

"Obviously. I still cannot believe that you didn't let me listen to them beforehand, but I can't wait. I like everything you do, Lou, and I am sure this album will be no different."

"Well, aren't you all mushy today?"

"As if you don't like it." I said, pulling away a little to give him access to turn around and face me.
