*HARRY'S POV*

"Will you please tell me what's going on?" I groan as Louis, for the umpteenth time, laughs with a knowing glint in his eyes.

"My love, I told you we're going to the living room." He says and pecks my lips.

In addition to being intolerably secretive, he has also been unusually affectionate the whole day. He has been calling me all sorts of nicknames ranging from 'my love' to nicknames that just irk me out like 'sugar plum'. I don't get where he is going with this, and it's really starting to piss me off.

"Is someone coming over?"

"Why would someone be coming over to spend time with us on Valentine's Day, darling?"

"Then why the fuck are we dressed up in suits and everything? Not that I'm complaining about it, I mean, it's Gucci, but the suspense is fucking killing me!"

"Language, sweetheart."

He pecks me again and yanks at my arm playfully to make me stand up on my feet. I gape at the man standing in front of me. I no longer think that I recognize him as the love of my life and the man that I married about almost 7 years back. Louis Tomlinson-Styles, is telling me, Harry Styles-Tomlinson, to stop swearing.

It really does seem like we woke up on the opposite side of the bed this morning.

"Louis, will you please tell me what's going on?"

"I did tell you. We're going to the living room. Now, my precious, if you'll go through with that, you'll find out."

"Can I?"

"Yes." He says, giving me another knowing smile. I don't like being on the other end of the spectrum. I open the bedroom door with a sigh of relief because I've been in here since the past 3 hours and when I do open the door, my breath is immediately taken away.

"Louis!"

"Do you like it?" he asks, his face full of glee and excitement. I am shocked at the scene in front of my eyes. Our entire living room furniture has been moved so that there is just one big round table sitting in the middle of the room. There is an assortment of food spread across the table and as I walk closer to it in a daze, I even spot our favourite kind of wine. The room alight with nothing but candles and the light of the TV, which is playing these short films that we took of one another over the years. They range from us just goofing around to small clips of our wedding day that the lads took in between ceremonies.

"Louis!" I repeat myself, not knowing if I can even say anything else, before finally finding the words to do so. "This is all so wonderful. Did you do all of this by yourself?!"

He nods with a proud grin on his face and I draw an impressed look on my face.

"I had help with the furniture, but everything else was all me. C'mon, let's eat."

"You made all the food, too?" I say as I sit down across from him, still dazed and confused with how he managed to get everything done in so little time!

"Yes, I did; and don't worry, it's all edible. I tasted everything."

"Babe, I am so proud of you! Thank you so much for all of this! I'm sure it was a lot of work." I say, smiling at him as he shrugs while pouring the wine in both our glasses.

"It was nothing, love."

We dive into food and the conversation between us is once again flowing comfortably, but this time, filled with memories of the past year. We talk about all the crazy times together both while in the band and after. We talk about all the times our fans caught us trying to be sly. They always pick up on the little details.

"I honestly think they care about our relationship more than us!" he says and laughs while shaking his head, and my mind is suddenly filled with the memory of the dinner we had about nine years ago at a restaurant. It was the day I knew that I had found my match for life.

"They know so much about us, though. Like, they always figure it out. The sly song lyrics and the tattoos and just about everything else. They even figured out the thing in the Woman song in like two months!" I say, pouting a little but not really feeling sad. "I thought that would always be my cheeky little secret."

"Babe, of course they knew. I knew the very first time I heard it, though."

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever." I say, rolling my eyes, knowing that he is right but still childishly not wanting to give him the satisfaction. We finish up dinner and then settle in on a big chair Louis kept in another room for us to cuddle in after dinner. We sit on the big chair and just look at the clips playing on the TV screen and talking about all of them, when I remember the most important part of the night.

"Babe, we totally forgot the gifts. Do you want your Valentine's gift now?"

"Oh, yes! I don't know why I forgot about that. It's the part I was most excited about!"

"Me too!" I say and laugh a little before sitting up properly and detaching myself from his embrace to shrug the pockets of my pants to take out a small box.

We both exchange the gifts and with a gleeful look on our faces, we both open it up at the same time. I have already guessed what mine is from the size of the box, but when I actually see the ring, I'm shocked at how beautiful it actually is.

"Louis, this is such a beautiful ring!"

My husband is well aware of my addiction with rings and he always makes sure to get me absolutely amazing ones whenever he can! I immediately understand the meaning behind the ring and kiss him, not bothering to wait for him to open up his gift first.

But then, I pull away from him and watch with a smile on my face as he opens it up and looks at me with confusion, before finally grasping on to the meaning of the gift and smiling.

"Always so thoughtful, Harry. This is literally the best gift ever. The distance bracelets are gonna be so handy when we go away on tour." He says and smiles at me, before I decide I have had enough of looking at him and kiss him.

"Now, I don't have to miss you too much when we're apart because I'll be able to feel close to you with just one touch of the bracelet." I say in between kisses and he just nods and smiled.

After that, the conversation ceases for good. We're too busy getting lost in each other to talk, anyway.
