His silver hair was a memory of his mother and his sapphire eyes, a curse for his father, the Duke. His life was full of abuse, until he met the emperor of the Sun Empire, Ohm Ritprasert, and asked him his hand in marriage.

"An elf!?" One of the officials gasped in shock as the emperor came back from Elnelon, with news that he had accepted a marriage proposal. Though it was not with the person they thought it was, "How can the empire accept a ruler that destroyed our lands thousands of years ago?" Another official said and Ohm just stared at all the men whispering and arguing between themselves. His eyes landed on the beautiful lady standing in front of him with her hands clasped at the front and face holding back her grudge.
"His highness had promised to join forces with the Kendmills family by marrying Lady Saya. How could his highness abandon his duties and choose an elf instead!?" The other officials nodded in agreement and Ohm sighed on his throne. He hated the officials. Each of them only thought of themselves and their own wealth. It didn't matter if people starved in their streets, as long as they got a warm house and plenty of food on the table, they couldn't care less.
Lady Saya on the other hand stayed silent as her eyes were casted down. Ohm ignored the obvious twisted smell around her as his alpha's nose had always been strong, "It was an agreement between the king of Elnelon and mine to strengthen the peace between the two realms," he explained, "Is it because of the child?" Lady Saya interrupted and Ohm's mood quickly darkened as he glanced down at the woman. Lady Saya looked him back in the eyes which was a very disrespectful act for a noble who had a lower rank than the emperor.
"I heard that creature is carrying the Ritprasert's golden eyes. How is that even possible? There is no other explanation than that the elf got pregnant by one of the imperial family," Suddenly the room got dark and everyone trembled in fear. Ohm's golden eyes glowed intensely as he raised his chest, making him larger than ever, "How are you so sure that the child is not mine?" Lady Saya and the officials became quiet as they couldn't believe the emperor had an illegitimate child no one knew of.
Besides, the emperor was known for being a serious man who didn't have any interest in those kinds of acts, "From tomorrow on, the two will live in this palace for the rest of their lives," he stood up and his golden eyes glowed as he glared at everyone in the throne hall, "Don't do something you will regret in the future," his voice low and intimidating. He then nudged his chin to the guards and all the officials including Saya were escorted to leave the throne hall. Ohm's eyes were still burning with rage as Prem approached him slowly.
"You are making enemies, your highness," Ohm just stared in all seriousness ahead, "I expected some problems after I signed the marriage contract," His hand rested on Prem's shoulder, "Keep an eye on lord Kendmills," he said before walking away.
