Damhan stared at the open field right in front of him. Filled with many different kind of flowers and the sun giving him the most beautiful shade of orange behind the mountain. A breeze carried his silver locks gently as Damhan's eyes moved slowly over the surface of the misty land, "Damhan! I know you love me! Don't lie to me, you stubborn stag!" A young black haired man with red eyes and beautiful white wings ran after him.

At the same place, the grass was much higher moving gently by the wind. The two boys were half covered by the tall grass and Damhan glanced back, "Go away, Lucifer!" He shouted, but the young angel grinned widely, "What's that!" He pointed, making Damhan turn his head towards the direction he pointed.

Suddenly the naughty little angel jumped on his back and the two fell down, "Luci!" Damhan tried to break free, but the angel giggled, "I've caught you," The stag gave up on struggling and let the angel lay on his chest, "I don't want to go home," Lucifer whined and Damhan hesitantly patted his back, "The higher world will punish you,"

Lucifer rested his chin on Damhan's chest, both looking into each other's eyes, "What if we run away together?" The stag's eyes widened and shook his head, "I can't. My sister is just born and my brother needs my help on succeeding the throne," Lucifer rolled his eyes as he pouted, "You are always so serious and too kind," Lucifer turned his head, but his lips curled up, "That's why I love you," he said embarrassed.

Damhan wasn't easily embarrassed, but this angel made him feel things he had never felt before. There was something tugging at his heart that started when he first laid eyes on the angel. His hand caressed the black locks and he too smiled fondly, "Whenever you feel down or need me, come to this place. I promise I will protect you from anyone," Lucifer smiled widely as he hugged the young stag, "Promise you will always protect me?" He asked with a small voice. Damhan hugged him tighter, "I promise,"

Damhan glanced down at the black necklace in his hand. One he had bought with Lucifer when they visited the human world together, "I'm sorry I couldn't keep our promise," He whispered. The necklace was put on back again and he hid it away inside his white robes.

He stood up and sighed. In this timeline, Damhan and Lucifer never met each other nor had the both of them seen a glimpse from the other. Damhan had the urge to look for him and yet he felt scared. He couldn't bear the truth of admitting he had killed his lover and the current one finding it out. The only thing he didn't want to see were those devastating red eyes staring back at him as he realised what happened to both of them.

Damhan walked away and the scenery disappeared slowly. Many years ago when he was a young elf, he had mastered the skill to create a world made out of his illusions. This open field was his first successful one and created it especially for Lucifer to give both of them a place where they could hide from anyone. Away from those who cussed and were against their relationship. It was all for Lucifer. His Luci...
