⋆𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐰𝐚𝐭

"Sakuragaoka Senior, Sawamura Eirin. I was a pitcher for a club outside of school. I am an all-rounder player so I will try my best where ever I am placed." Her sport glasses with a purpleish-blue tint from her former captain, flash under the sunlight.

Her brother decides it is the best time to speak up, "The player that she admires is ME!"

Eirin doesn't even turn to look at her brother, she just spends him a glare from the corner of her eye and he quickly quiets down. Many of their older players raise their eyebrows at the known loud player becoming quiet just from a look from the young girl. Who didn't even look at him fully. Those who had met her when she came for a tour, weren't too shocked.

The coach introduces himself to the new players, "I'm Kataoka, the head coach!"

The coach behind him introduces himself as well, "I'm Ochiai! A coach."

Kataoka continues on with a speech, "As you all must be aware. Only a short while ago, we played at Koushien. It goes without saying that adapting to the high school baseball training regimen first and foremost is important. But I also want you to observe your senpais' attitude and approaches during practice. They have experienced Koushien. They have learned from it. And they have understood what they need to do from now on. All of that will be showing in their every move when they practice. So first, see the baseball we are seeking to achieve. With your own eyes and feel it with you own skin!"

The first years are quiet for a bit before replying, "YES SIR!"

"Sawamura."

"Yes!" The siblings reply.

Kataoka looks at the female Sawamura. "I am glad you came on time to the beginning unlike your brother. Please tell me you don't want to throw a ball to the fence like your brother did last year."

Eirin instantly snaps her heads towards her older brother, "He did what?"

Eijun cowards away, hiding from his younger sister. "I mean-"

"I am definitely not catching for you for a month."

"WAIT NO EIRI PLEASE!"

The first practice for the first years goes on.

"FIRST YEARS WILL NOW HAVE A PHYSCIAL ABILITY TEST AROUND GROUND B, WHILE SECOND AND THIRD YEARS GO TO GROUND A FOR GENERAL PRACTICE. ONCE YOU'RE DONE WITH THE FREE PART OF THE TRAINING WE'LL MOVE ON TO FIELDING PRACTICE WITH RUNNERS. ALL THE PITCHERS ARE TO PARTICIPATE IN DEFENSE, AS WELL."

"YES SIR!"

Fifty-nine second and third years. Thirty-five new first years. Ninety-four members in total. With the goal to make it to Koushien for a second season in a row...The reborn Seidou High School baseball club is going into action...

Eirin sits in the middle of most of the first-years, her eyes trained on the game being played in front of her. The Spring Tournament continues on, the game being played right now is Seidou vs Eigen, the second match of the third round.

"The second game fo the third round of the spring tournament will start shortly."

She briefly took her eyes off the game to reply to her old team's group chat as her senpais were asking her about Tokyo and taking some quick notes on the older players in the notes app on her phone when Kominato Haruichi got a hit and everyone in the Seidou cheering team were going wild.

"It goes through the gap between left and center! The second base runner Kuramochi is speeding home! An Seidou high scores another run!"

Miyuki comes up to bat, hitting the ball out of the park. The cheer squad start to go off once again.

"WOOOOOOOW!"

"IT'S OUT OF HERE!!!"

"A DIRECT HIT AGAINST THE BACK SCREEN! THAT'S A TWO RUN HOMER!"

"A HOMERUN FOR THE CAPTAIN!"

"HE WAS TARGETING THAT HIGH FASTBALL!"

Furuya goes up next, hitting the ball to the outfield.

"He brings up a low breaking ball and hits it long! A double over the center fielder! Seidou's lineup is unstoppable! Today, Furuya Satoru is calling attention to himself with his bat!"

The game continues on as Seidou goes out on the field to play offense. The score being five to none, Seidou being in the lead. Kawakami is on the mound pitching, but the team got the three outs very quickly.

"Three outs after having avoided the dangerous situation with runners on second and third. By having the batters hit grounders, just like in the manual! The starting pitcher Kawakami manages to contain damage to only 1 lost run!"

The game continues on, Seidou gaining five more runs and the score becomes ten to one. Eirin continues to take notes on her phone, nodding her head to herself softly as she reads what she wrote. She ignores the other first years talking around her. Her head snaps up when the announcer brings up a player change for Seidou.

"Player change notification for Seidou High. Higasa-kiun replaces Kanemaru-kun as the third baseman, and the pitcher Kawakami-kun, is replaced by, Sawamura-kun. Pitcher Sawamura-kun, Batting  9th."

Many of the first-years sit in slight shock, trying to process that Eijun was going to pitch instead of Furuya, who many of them were expecting. 

A grin grows on her face as she cups her hands around her mouth, cheering on her brother. "LET'S GO EIJI-NII!" Bringing her hands down from her face, she opens a new note in the note app and gets ready to take new notes on her brother. She needs to update her notebook about her brother and his skills in baseball.

Many people look over in her direction but she ignores them as her brother gets his first strikeout of the inning with only three pitches. He strikes out the next batter with another three pitches. He gets the final out of the inning with another strike out and the game is called with the score being 11-1, Seidou as the winner.
