She follows her fellow first years up the staircase, listening into their conversation as she continues to answer the group chat and then Wataru separately. Her text message to Wataru consists of her explaining about how she got a lot of good notes to start a notebook on just Seidou players alone. As well as new information to add to her notebook about her brother.
The first year with a red patch on the front part of his hair, excitedly talks about the game to his friend. "There can be no doubt now: that guy's really good. Compared to the fall, he's even more effective at getting hitters out clean and fast."
His blond friend replies, "He didn't throw his winning shot, the changeup, even once. And he didn't use anything other than his fastballs. No balls missing wide either. Out of the total of 11 pitches he threw, 3 were simply let go by, 2 were fouled because of the hitters swinging too late on them, and 6 were swung at and missed."
Eirin sends her text, slipping her phone into the smallest pocket of her duffle bag and nods to herself. He was right.
"WOW!!! I was under the impression that he was the contact type of pitcher, but that's not all there is to him, huh!"
The first years are quiet for a bit, looking at the back of the younger sister of the player they are talking about. Feeling their eyes on her, Eirin stops walking up the stairs for a moment and glances back at them. "He's right. My brother still has a long way to go."
There is a strong aura to the left of her, Yuuki Masaru seems to be very pumped up.
"Wh-what's with you, Yuuki-kun..." "Something's totally raising off of you?!"
After a meeting with the coach, the team breaks off for a bit. Eijun quickly heads to his sister who is standing off to the side and in the back of the large group. Knowing what he wants, she pulls her phone out of the small pocket of her bag, unlocks it and hands him her cell phone. The older Sawamura gives her a grin, instantly going to the note app and seeing the page of notes on just him alone.
At dinner, Eirin continues to eat dinner with her eyes on the tv that is currently playing the game between Inashiro and Yakushi. She is struggling through the new diet of the three rice bowls. Honestly, Eirin admits that she believed that she had a much bigger appetite but she was very much wrong.
She ignores everything around her, continuing to watch the recorded game while taking notes in her head. She should definitely start bringing a notebook down during dinner if they are going to watch games like this. She finally finishes her food, picking up her tray, plates and utensils to the cafeteria lady to be put away before heading up to her dorm room quietly.
Absolutely ready to write for the rest of the night.
An hour later, she is settled at the desk that came in her dorm with a pair of glasses on her face and her hair up in a ponytail. But there are multiple strands loose from the ponytail, making it look messy.
