The Day I Met Mrs Li

My life finally felt like a fully bloomed flower. At first, it was a closed bud waiting to get the fresh, positive sunlight and abundance of water. In my case, that's exactly what I was waiting for. I wanted to be with people that made me feel happy, comfortable and loved. Now, I had finally found this happiness through Astro. Astro always made me feel happier in the past but as I got to know the boys much more, I realized that these boys are what I was missing throughout my entire life. They became my family, my friends, and my entire world. 

My parents left me when I was 2 years old. I don't know if they ever had a justification for leaving me. Maybe they didn't want me. I don't know. That question has always bothered my mind. But after meeting the boys, I have decided to leave the past behind. I still have a lot to achieve in life.

As I woke up this morning, I decided to go buy some groceries for myself. Since I had some free time, I decided to go to my favorite grocery store in Seokchon-Dong. I got ready and headed towards the grocery store. I live alone so I don't need a lot of grocery however I like to load up on supplies. Why? Oh because the boys show up at my apartment unexpectedly anytime during the day. So I always have to stay prepared. 

I checked out and left the grocery store while I saw a very familiar figure standing in front. I got to get a closure look at the person and I suddenly realized who it was. It was women. Not any women. It was Mrs Li. She quickly turned back and saw me. We both starred at each other for a very long time before anyone said anything. 

"Anneonghaseyo Mrs Li. Its good to see you after a long time."

"Y/N is that you? I still can't believe I finally found you. How are you dear?" (Mrs Li)

"I am fine Mrs Li. Thank you for asking. Have you been doing well?"

"Yes my child. I am well." (Mrs Li)

"I'm glad to hear that. Shall we sit somewhere and talk. I bet we have a lot to catch up on."

"Of course dear." (Mrs Li)

We walked a little and finally found a café where we can sit talk.

"Mrs Li, jeosonghabnida. I know I have caused you a lot of trouble. I am truly very sorry for my actions. But you have to understand I had no choice back then."

"Aniyo gweanchana. Its all in the past now. Yes, I was very hurt when you ran away from the orphanage. I loved you just like my child. But I understand that you wanted to become independent. I searched for you everywhere but I failed. After one year, I stopped searching. I knew you were capable of taking care of yourself. But Y/N, living alone is not fun at all. Atleast, at the orphanage, you had people to support you all the time." (Mrs Li)

"Those people never felt like mine Mrs Li. The only person who cared about me was you. You were my mother. But you knew that after learning the truth about my parents, I turned lonely and depressed. None of the other kids felt like my friends. I completely secluded myself. Thats why I left. I ran away so I could find a better world outside that can support me, love me and give me the happiness I was looking for."

"Well, have you found your happiness?" (Mrs Li)

"Yes Mrs Li. I finally found 6 amazing friends who love me and care about me so much that I feel amazing and honored to be their friend."

"Then I'm glad you found what you wanted. I just wanted to see you happy. Oh I am late. I must go back. The children are waiting for me. Here is my contact info if you ever want to talk again." (Mrs Li)

"Definitely Mrs Li. Thank you for your time."

"Anytime dear." (Mrs Li)

After to talking to Mrs Li, I finally felt like I have found closure with my past. I was happy that today I had the opportunity to talk to her again. Now I'm fully ready to forget the sad past and start a happy life ahead. When I was lost in my thoughts, I got a text from the boys.

As soon as I got to know about the boy's situation, I quickly left towards the concert location.
