"Princess Ruthy, it's time to have breakfast." Said Genesis, one of my maids. I rose from my reading table and straightened my gown.
"Let me do it for you, princess." Came Danielle, my other maid.
"Oh no, it's okay. I can handle it." I said and gave them a wink.
My maids are used to my attitude. The winks, gestures, and speech. But I don't do that in front of my Father. The King? Oh no no, he'll kill me.
"Now, let's go."
I positioned my tiara while walking down the hall and came down the stairs. The guards opened the double-door which led to the Dining Hall.
"Good morning, Father." I greeted and curtsied.
"Good morning, Mother." I faced Mom and curtsied as well.
"Good morning, dear. Have a seat." My Mom said and Dad gave me a smile.
It's so comfortable calling them Mom and Dad, but sometimes I still have to call them as Mother and Father, the formal way of address your royal parents? I guess...
"Hey Keith. I mean, good morning, Prince Keith." I jokingly curtsied in front of my brother.
I have a fourteen-year old brother. I'm seventeen and I'm turning eighteen in a few months. I'm going to be in the legal age! Of course I can't just drink alcohol or kiss anybody, like any other teenagers do. I have a reputation...and a whole army who will kill for me.
Keith smirked. I sat in front of him and the maids served us food.
"French toast and chilled salad huh? Brilliant." Said Keith then roared on the food.
I grabbed the toast and was about to put it in my mouth when my Mom suddenly cleared her throat.
I looked at her with a sideway glance and she pointed at her fork. Then I remembered I'm a princess.
I grabbed the fork and used it to eat my toast. Gosh, royals.
After eating breakfast, I headed to the Women's Room to sign some contracts for the Royal Orphanage Parade. The Women's Room is where me and my Mom handle official documents, events and any other things we need to address.
The Royal Orphanage Parade is basically a parade with the orphans from the new orphanage building, East Rinovea Orphanage.
"Good morning, Your Highness. Here are the papers you have to sign for the parade." Said Lady Shine and curtsied.
I sat in the chair and scanned the papers. Well, this will be in two days. I'm very much excited. All the people of Rinovea will be there watching.

Imperfections of a Royal
