Alan’s POV
“Hey, Erin.” I said nudging her a little a soft smile playing on my lips as I tried to wake her up. She rolled over slowly to face me and let out a small groan of tiredness. I smiled at her in the darkness of our bunk. It’s so weird having to say it’s our bunk now. It used to be mine but now it’s ours and I loved that.
“Yeah?” She asked quietly snuggling in closer to my chest and I put my arm around her pulling her in closer. Her cheek was cold against my bare chest making it break out in goose bumps. I shivered and pulled the covers over us more.
“Last night was amazing.” I said. Every night was amazing since she’s been here. I’ve slept ten times better with her around. It was the best having her around, everything was better. Although we haven’t had sex since the first night we met everything was still wonderful. I could feel her lips form a smile against my chest.
“Every night is amazing with you, Alan.” She said and I feel like a pussy for admitting it but it gave me butterflies, almost, when she said this. She put her hand behind my back and started rubbing small circles with her finger tips on my upper back and then moved farther down. She hit my boxers and stopped. It gave me chills up and down my spine. She smiled at me as I had an awkward spasm from the chills. “So what are we going to do today before the show?” She asked still sounding tired.
“I was thinking we could go to a pet shop that’s like right around the corner from the venue. I know you like cats so I was thinking…” I said trailing off almost.
“Oh my god, Alan, are we going to get a tour kitten?” Erin asked sounding excited and I smiled.
“I hope so. I’ve always wanted one and she can sleep in our bunk with us. We can play with her together. I think it would be fun. The rest of the band isn’t completely opposed to having a kitten on tour so we could if you saw one you liked.” I said. I was so excited now. I’ve always wanted a tour kitten and if I pick one out with Erin it would make it special.
“This is going to be great.” She said and looked up at me. “You are perfect.” She smiled and placed her lips on mine.
“Surprise!” Elise yelled as she pulled open the curtain to our bunk letting the light from the hallway flood into our bunk. I threw my hands up to cover my eyes from the bright light. I was definitely not ready for that. Erin groaned next to me and hid her face in my chest pulling the blankets higher over her head. “What? It’s like 11 o’clock. You aren’t up yet?” She asked with a small laugh and I groaned. I hoped she wouldn’t do this often on this tour. “Well, anyway, we are here so you guys should probably get up and get dressed.” She said and pulled the curtain back into place leaving us in the dark again.
Erin sat up and grabbed a shirt from the foot of the bunk and threw it on. She switched on the reading light and realized it was my shirt but she just shrugged and slid out of the bed leaving me alone in the bunk. Our bunk. I loved being able to say that.
