Elise’s POV
It had been 5 weeks since we joined Of Mice & Men’s tour. 5 weeks since me and my best friend and roommate had our lives changed. Lately Erin, Alan, Austin, and I have all been getting high after some of the shows. After we would smoke Alan would teach me a little guitar until we just wanted to fall asleep. It was fun. Tonight was one of those nights.
“I think I’m going to go put my guitar away.” Alan said getting up from the couch. It was pretty late and we were all tired especially after smoking. We all decided it was a good idea to go with him to put it away so we all headed to the front of the bus. We all walked down the stairs and Erin was a bit behind. She started to run a little down the steps and she tripped and tumbled all the way down into the street hitting her head.
“Oh my god, Erin are you okay?” I asked picking her up off of the road. The guys turned around to see her and Alan ran to her side.
“Are you okay?” Alan asked as well looking concerned. She shook her head and removed the hand she held on her head to reveal blood. Alan examined the back of her head and there was a cut. “I think you should go to the hospital.” Alan said still looking at her head.
“I’ll take you in one of the vans. And Alan and Austin you can stay here it’s okay I can take care of her.” I said leaning Erin’s weight on me and I started walking her to the van parked behind us. I opened her door for her and helped her in then ran to the other side and started the engine. I waved to the boys and drove off as fast as I could.
They had to do a brain scan on her to make sure she had no concussions or anything too serious. After they took the scan they put us into a small room where we had to wait for the results. Erin laid in the bed with a hospital gown on and tried not to fall asleep.
