Chapter 6 - 0 days. 5 hours.23 minutes. 21 seconds.

Jasmines POV

Beep Beep Beep

Ughhhh, I swear to god I think my stupid alarm has something against my relationship with my bed .

I got up and looked into the mirror and nearly jumped out my skin .

"Jesus ," I muttered to myself .

First day of school and I looked shit , oh great .

I quickly walked into the bathroom as started brushing my teeth . After I finished brushing my teeth I walked out and walked to my wardrobe .

I picked out a white tank top and a blue light washed denim shorts . I finished it of with my leather jacket and once again, another beanie .

"Jassss , SCHOOL ," Dad shouted .
"I'm coming ," I shouted finishing of the last touches of my makeup .

I grabbed the blue lace bag sitting at the end of my bed .

I quickly ran downstairs and grabbed a apple .

"You look really good ," a voice making me jump out of my skin .
"Oh my god Alex ! " I screamed .

Alex and Dad started laughing their heads of . I scowled at them and gave them a look , which shut them up .

I quickly said bye to dad and walked out the house with Alex following me . As he got closer to me he slung his arm around me and grinned at me .

The whole way to school Alex went on. About all his amazing friends . I honestly wasn't really listening to him for most of the time .

As we got closer to the school , I started walking behind Alex . He realised this and wrapped his arm around my waist .

"It'll be fine ," he whispered in my ear .

Already people were staring at me , I didn't know wether it was because of my lip piercing or the fact that Alex had his arm sling over my hips . But ignored them and held my head high .

We got into the school and I saw a group of boys huddled in a circle , and when they saw Alex they started saying stuff in Finnish . Then they saw me and they quickly looked at their timers and I just rolled my eyes .

"Hey Alex , who's your friend ?" One of the boys asked .
"This is jasmine , she just moved from America ." He said ." This is Danu , lasse and James ," he said pointing at them one by one . We started talking and laughing , and they didn't even seem that bad .

Then a girl with red hair came running towards us . She stopped when she saw me .
"Omggg finally , another girl," she squealed . "Hey I'm Laura ," she said smiling at me .

"I'm jasmine ," I said grinning back .
"Where's Isac ?" A boy asked , I think it was Danu .
"He's at the studio ," Alex answered back .

They all rolled their eyes and started walking to their classes. I of course didn't know what to do so I ran to Alex's side .

He smiled at me and I walked with them and for once in my life I somehow felt like I was part of a group .

We got into the class and the teacher stopes me before I could sit down .

"Why don't you come and introduce yorself ?" She said looking at me kindly .
"Ok so my name is jasmine porter and I moved from America ," I said looking at everyone .

The boys were all staring at me their eyes roaming my body and I felt like I was getting eye raped . Some of the girls looked at me with envy but there were some girls talking and then laughing at me . I instantly felt my cheek going red .

As much as I loved the company of the group I needed some alone time .

I had escaped from the group and thank God no one had realised .

I walked around the school looking for an empty classroom . I finally found a room that said "tanssi". I remembered from one of the worksheets I was given that tanssi meant dance .

I walked in a let out a little sigh as I was glad no one was in there .

I grabbed my phone out and plugged it into the dock laying on the floor . I played Jai waetford's cover of "The Only Exception" .

I walked to the middle of the room and stood there waiting for the intro of the song .

I had been dancing since I was 4 , I guess it was my way of letting out my emotions . I loved that feeling when the music takes over your body and you feel like your not even there .

I was dancing freely not thinking about anything . My body curved and seated to the beat of the song . I let go of everything and closed my eye .

I didn't have to care about anything . Not about my dad or my timer or anything . I was so happy and in paradise that I hadn't realised that the group of friends were standing their looking at me .

I finished dancing and stood their trying to regain my breath . Then I heard clapping , it was slow at first but got faster . I whipped my head around to see Alex, Danu ,lasse , James and Laura clapping .

Then I saw another boy . A boy I hadn't seen before . I felt a feeling in the pit of my stomach , it was feeling that I had never felt before . The skin on my wrist started feeling weird . It wasn't even one second after I felt that feeling , when I heard two small objects falling onto the floor with a soft thud .

I looked down to see my timer and the mysterious boys timer on the floor . I looked at him and he was already looking at me .

The room was silent , everyone looked shocked and confused.

I looked down at the timer again and I grabbed my bag and my phone and ran . I ran away , I knew they were going to come after me but I still ran . I didn't know we're I was going but I just needed to get away from here .

I needed to get away from my soulmate.....
