"Is there going to be a body of water?"

"Obviously. Did you even look at the map?"

Ethan looked away sheepishly from Bela, "I did, but... Don't you think we would need some gear?"

Bela raised her eyesbrows, "Gear? No, no." she answered as she waved her hands around in dismissal. Ethan nodded, slowly, as if thinking carefully of her words.

They both gave the gas masks back to Duke and they are now on their way to the Reservoir.

They were only walking and it was still a bit far.

They still couldn't see it from where they were.

Soon enough, Bela started swarming to go faster. Ethan was struggling to catch up with her.

Bela then stopped halfway into flying all the way. She looked back at Ethan, now meters away from where she was standing.

He was panting as he tried running to her.

Bela got an idea before she swarmed to where Ethan was.

The man raised a brow at her in confusion before Bela used her flies to grab his jacket and then flew up high.

She carried Ethan using his jacket as he dangled his legs hopelessly.

He was shouting at her to let him down but he soon gave up trying when Bela and her flies persisted.

She felt Ethan relax under her grip as she flew faster than ever to the direction of the reservoir.

Usually, she couldn't do this. But the sheer will of ending this feud between Miranda, Ethan and Mia drove her and became her motivation.

And, she never thought she can ever fly this high until she tried it now with Ethan.

She continued to soar through the sky, still in her swarm as she flew only inches above the trees that lined below.

She heard Ethan sigh.

"Seriously, how do you not feel like throwing up?" he asked as he finally saw the reservoir come into view a little farther away.

Bela chuckled, "I've been flying for already like, sixty-three years. Obviously I'll get used to it."

She felt Ethan tense as she said the numbers.

"Sixty-three? Sixty-three!? You're that old!?" Ethan exclaimed as the reservoir's waters were clear enough.

Bela laughed. "Yeah." was all she said as they finally reached the reservoir's wet, snowy soil.

Ethan huffed as he jumped out of Bela's grasp.

Bela transformed back to her human form, making her swarm go back into their places as to not alert the Lord of the Reservoir.

Ethan sighed. "So this is it." he said as he looked around the place.

Bela shrugged. "I guess it is. But-" she looked around.

"I expected Lord Moreau to get more security, especially since he's the most loyal to Miranda."

Ethan nodded as he listened to her words. It was a kind of warning to keep their guard up.

Bela started walking in front of him as she lead the way to wherever the flask containing his daughter would be.

-----

After a few minutes, there was still no sign of anything or anyone attacking.

With that in mind, Bela started to get faster in her steps. Once she reached the Lord's door, she didn't knock.
