Walking home it was very chilly, the wind was blowing and I'm wearing a short sleeve shirt. I made my way in a public area so I'm near the street lights. I feel safer that way. I sigh as I realize I actually have to go home tonight. My father wants to sign me up for summer boot camp again to ready me for when I graduate. I have been doing the little military program for kids since I learned to walk.
I enjoyed it but it's not my dream profession, it's my fathers. He say my passion won't fulfill my financial needs which may be true but again, moneys not always the case. Money is all my father care about. He's head strong like a bull, but never softens. I guess that's what you get for having a drill sergeant a a father
My thoughts were halted when I heard a huge thump. I get nervous and asked, "who's there?" I wait but no on answers me. Maybe that's a good thing. I keep walking and one of the street lights go out and I saw a shadow go by on the other side of the street. I began running but I feel the figure is chasing me. I don't stop running until I get onto my street. Once I reach my door to open it. A sharp object was thrown at my door. It was a sharp ninja star will a bizarre symbol on each side. I dare to look back to see who threw it but the figure was gone. I saw a note attached to the star and I grabbed the weapon and all, running inside.
I slammed the door and locked ever lock we have on our door. I'm huffing and puffing as the living room light turns on. "Michael Fuka, where have you been? It's way passed curfew and it's a school night!" I put my head down in respect to my mothers worries and accept the long lecture but all I can think of is what's on the note?
I went upstairs to my room locking my door, windows, and shutting curtains. I check my whole room just to make sure I'm not being watched. Realizing that I'm safe, I sit at my desk and turn the desk lamp on. I grab the star from my pocket and accidently cut my figure with the sharp edges. "Shit." I curse under my breath. I look at my hand and I was bleeding really bad. I quickly bandaged my hand with gauze and applied pressure to stop the bleeding.
I eye the note that was sitting folded on my desk. This could be either a bad thing or a really bad thing. My curiosity took over my thought immediately. I snatched the note and opened it.
Michael Fuka:
Meet us at (Address) on the roof top at midnight tomorrow, alone. If you don't, we presume you are the enemy. Enemies will be dealt with accordingly. Take a blood oath to show your fate.
Fear takes over me and I lay back in my chair. Great so there's a great possibility that I'm gonna die tomorrow... Okay Michael calm down, you need to think! Why would ninja's be after me? I'm just an average person, nothing really fantastic or worth the attention of a NINJA CLAN! Ok breathe! I take a couple breaths and try to think rationally. If I don't go tomorrow, it maybe worst for me. I need to stay strong for the safety of my family and I.
"I can do this!"
