The Familiarity Of You

Inuyasha scoffed as he rolled his eyes before continuing to settle in to his room. Though he thought the other male was only teasing him something felt oddly familiar about his smile.

Koga set his books on his bed before he began to finish up his unpacking as well. He had made it to the dorms before the sun had even rose. He lived in a foster home which meant he had a load of siblings he had to live with. He was excited to finally get away from the crowded place though he didn't seem to have the best first impression with his roommate.

After Inuyasha finished unpacking he looked around his room, a little lost and unsure what he should do now. Koga took notice and silently set the book he had taken from Inuyasha in the library on his bed. He took some clothes to the bathroom and got changed into some sweatpants and a tank top. He washed his face before putting on some sneakers. When he came out he noticed Inuyasha reluctantly staring at the book.

"I'm going for a jog." Koga huffed as he headed towards the door.

" 'Kay. Love ya." Inuyasha spoke out of reflex from always saying it to his mother when he was at home. He blushed a bright red as he slapped his hand over his mouth, quickly looking at Koga in shock. Koga stared blankly at the other male, trying to process what he said. He blinked awkwardly before simply heading out the door.

"Love... ya too?" Koga mumbled just before he closed the door, clearly confused and maybe a bit weirded out. Koga spaced out as he walked to the track and even as he started to jog he still couldnt focus. With every thought he managed to formulate he simply ran a bit faster and got a bit embarrassed.

Inuyasha had laid down on his bed, burying his face in his pillow to muffle his embarrassed screams. After a decent while of panicking and dying of embarrassment he sighed. What was done was done. He couldn't just take it back could he? He picked up the book and began to read it, barely able to comprehend what he was reading. By the time Inuyasha was half way threw the book it was lunch time. He sighed as he sat up and rubbed his temples, feeling his stomach growl. Koga still hadn't come back from his jog yet though it wasn't as if Inuyasha cared. He grabbed his wallet and headed out to find something to eat. He didnt have to have a job seeing as how his mother gave him a decent weekly allowance. Inuyasha found a nice ramen shop on campus and bought some to take back to his dorm. When he got back he noticed Koga still wasn't back. Had he chased him off already? Inuyasha shook his head as he ate half of the ramen, continuing to read the book. By the time he had finished his book it was dark out, the street lamps having been turned on. Inuyasha had stored the rest of the ramen in it container, putting it on the desk along with the book. He stretched before grabbing some pjs and heading to the bathroom where he took a nice warm shower. Once the water had ran cold he got dried off and dressed before brushing his hair. He stepped out the bathroom and looked around. Koga still wasn't back. Inuyasha huffed, not sure why he even kept thinking about the other male. Inuyasha looked out the window as he strained his eyes to see through the dark. He could see someone's silhouette running around though he couldn't see exactly who it was. He was certain it was his strange roommate though. Inuyasha shook his head with a sigh before slipping on a coat and heading out the door. He made his way down to the track, feeling the damp grass on his bare feet. Once he was closer there was no mistaking it. There was koga. He was drenched in sweat and panting heavily, his eyes narrowed as he struggled to keep his exhausted body moving.

"Hey! Idiot! Do you know what time it is!?" Inuyasha hollered at him. Koga snapped out of the seemingly trance he was in as he slowed to a walk, looking around as he walked towards inuyasha.

"I... didn't notice..." Koga had been so spaced out that he honestly couldn't tell.

"Well let's get inside." Inuyasha huffed as he motioned towards the dorm. Koga looked down, noticing Inuyasha was barefoot.

"Sure. Get on my back. I'll carry you." Koga spoke as he turned his back towards inuyasha.

"Are you a psychopath!? You've been running all day! Aren't you exhausted!? Besides you're all sweaty!" Inuyasha huffed, baffled by the other males suggestion. If anyone should offer to carry anyone it should be him offering to carry koga.

"Nah. It's fine. I could use the extra training. Besides. You're barefoot. What if you step on something sharp?" Koga spoke calmly though he was still panting, sweat literally dripping off of him. Inuyasha was reluctant but eventually caved in a got on Kogas back. Even though he smelled of musk and his sweat was pretty disgusting it felt right to be there. He even actually enjoyed kogas natural scent. Inuyasha slightly blushed as he laid his head on kogas shoulder, clinging a bit tighter so he wouldn't fall off as koga began to lightly jog back to their dorm room. Koga didn't let Inuyasha down until they were in their room with the door closed. Once Inuyasha had been sat down safely Koga headed towards the bathroom.

"Oh! Um... sorry...I think i used all the hot water..." Inuyasha mumbled, feeling a bit bad about it.

"No worries. A cold shower would do me some good..." Koga mumbled as he stepped in and closed the door. Inuyasha took off his coat and crawled into bed. Thanks to Kogas sweat the cloth smelled strongly like him. Inuyasha laid down with the coat against his noise, a strong sense of familiarity and home came from his scent. Inuyasha sighed as he pushed the coat aside and looked towards the bathroom door. It wasnt long before Koga came out with a towel around his waist. He sat on his bed for a moment, looking as if he just wanted to collapse. Inuyasha slightly blushed at the sight a bit embarrassed.

"Have you eaten yet?" Inuyasha questioned the other. Koga stayed still with his eyes closed before finally responding.

"No. I'm hungry..." Koga responded before trying to rub the tiredness out of his eyes as he stood up.

"Its not much but theres some ramen on the desk. It was my lunch though so its probably cold by now." Inuyasha offered. Koga gave a slight nod as he quickly headed to the desk and began to tear into the ramen. Inuyasha was surprised he could still move so quickly given how tired he was. As soon as Koga finished eating he collapsed on his bed, falling asleep almost immediately. Inuyasha got up and walked towards Koga, cautiously trying to pull the blanket over top of the sleeping male. Koga turned in his sleep, pulling Inuyasha down onto the bed with him. He laid still, a bit startled. Inuyasha closed his eyes as he found Kogas enticing scent yet again. Though he smelled much cleaner his natural scent was still present. It almost seemed as though Koga forgot to use soap or something. Inuyasha knew he should get up and go back to his bed. He knew it would probably be weird to sleep with Koga on their first night, or any night for that matter but he couldn't bring himself to open his eyes. Everything about it just felt right. It felt like he was made to fill the empty side of Kogas bed. Inuyasha sighed as he focused on Kogas scent and the weight of the males arms wrapped around him. He felt as though he was in danger of becoming addicted to the other male and before long Inuyasha was no longer able to keep himself awake. He had fallen asleep there.
