~Dream Of Another Life~

Inuyasha sighed as he opened his eyes. He was sitting in the cool and shallow end of a stream. The summer heat had him panting heavily as if he were an actual dog. Across the stream he could see Sango teaching her daughters how to help hang the laundry. The girls weren't doing very well. They were fussing about the heat. Inuyasha smirked in amusement. Seeing the cute girls almost made him want kids.

"Hey mutt. Scoot over. I'm hot too." Koga huffed out as he sat closely to Inuyasha in the cool water.

"Stupid wolf! Theres a whole fucking stream! Go sit elsewhere!!" Inuyasha huffed at the wolf demon. Further conversation was cut off when Ayame showed up with a small pup in her arms. Ayame crouched near Inuyasha with a smile.

"Look dog boy! Isn't our pup adorable? Do you wanna hold em?" Ayame questioned cheerfully as Koga smiled, gently holding onto Ayames arm and looking at his pup proudly.

"Nah. I... I don't like kids..." Inuyasha mumbled as he slightly shifted, a bit uncomfortable. He often forgot that Koga chose to take Ayame as his mate. Seeing her and their pup only made him uncomfortable and sick to his stomach. Inuyasha closed his eyes with a sigh and all of his thoughts blurred together before disappearing.

~Back To The Present~

Inuyasha gasped as he woke up in a bit of a sweat. He blinked the sleep from his eyes as he shifted, feeling the warmth and weight of Kogas body against his own. It was late into the night and Koga was snoring in his sleep. Inuyasha panted heavily as he tried to push Koga away. He began coughing, feeling as if he couldn't breathe. Koga woke up due to the movement. He quickly sat up, pulling Inuyasha to sit up to once he noticed his breathing. Koga began to rub Inuyashas back, looking at him with worry. Inuyasha glanced at Koga, still struggling to catch his breath and for a moment he could've sworn he saw the wolf demon from his dream. Tears rolled down Inuyashas cheeks as his vision slightly blurred and the image shifted to his human Koga. Just as his vision did the memory of his dream blurred and in a flash was forgotten. Inuyasha finally managed to catch his breath once he could no longer remember the contents of his dream.

"Hey!? Hey!? Are you listening!? Can you hear me!?" Koga spoke worriedly as he snapped his fingers next to Inuyashas ear. It was only then did he realize that Koga had been speaking to him. He just hadn't been able to hear him until just then. Inuyasha gave a nod as his breathing started to calm down.

"Are you okay!? Can you breathe!?" Koga questioned, still on full alert from the panic Inuyasha had caused.

"Y-yeah..." Inuyasha responded in a shaky voice. Koga quickly pulled Inuyasha into a tight hug as he continued to rub his back.

"Jesus christ... you scared the hell out of me... what happened?" Koga questioned in a much softer tone.

"I think it was just a bad dream...I must be anxious about school starting tomorrow..." Inuyasha mumbled. He just wanted an excuse for the way he had felt though truthfully he had never felt like that before. It felt like he was being crushed and cooked alive. It couldn't have been side effects of sleep paralysis could it have? He was moving wasn't he?
