the 14th of february. valentines day. a day for lovers to show affection towards their loved one. instead today gives me a bitter feeling.
two years ago today we broke it off. not just our relationship, but our marriage. i should've seen it coming. with the amount of time we spent with each together reducing, we both felt lost and the feelings were starting to fade.
you're happier now, with someone who makes you feel loved while i was still stuck in the past. holding onto our memories.
