Maya and Carina

"I will see her when i get home"

Herrera: "Hey can you give me a ride? My car is stocked".
M:"I don't know.. I need to think about that.."
H: "ohh get in the car and shut up".
H:"Ok ok". M:"You know i ate this Pistachio ice cream a few night ago, I literally ate the whole thing and than i see that its the date has expired, can you belive?" H:"you ate my Pistachio ice cream?".
M:"Wait it was yours?!". "Yes!!".
M:"Who eats Pistachio ice cream?".
H: "Um.. I think you did".
M:"Well i was hungry.. but I would rather chocolate next time".
H:"I can't believe this".
M:"It was expired anyway".
H:"It wasn't i was putting it in this just so no one would touch it".
M:"Ohh smart!".
H: "It didn't really work".
M:"Right!!! Now I remember! You do like pistachio! Even when we were younger".
H: "Yeah i have".
M:"Your weird".
H:"You also weird".
M:"Yeah that's the reason we're friends".
H:"True". -they're arriving to Hereras place". -getting out of the car-.
H: "Thanks for the ride weirdo i love you".
M: "Love you to weirdo".
-Maya going to a restaurant buying pizza and driving home-.
"Hey hun, I brought some pizza I thought you'll be hungry".
-seeing Carina seating on the sofa crying-. M:"Carina? Are you ok? What happened?".
-seating next to her and Gently stroking her hair-
C: "she died".
M:"Who died?".
C:"My patient the one i told you about she's dead". -Bursts into tears-
-Maya is hugging her-
M:"I know how much its hurts".
C:"She just died maya.. she died!".
-hugging her tighter-.
M:"It's ok I'm here".
C:"It was all my fault! It's me". "Hey!".
-holding her face-
M:"it wasn't your fault do you hear me?".
C:" I shouldn't have taken the risk.. maby if i knew this surgery.. it wouldn't happened".
M:"I know you! And I know you did everything right! Didn't you?".
C:"I dk I think so".
M:"Than this wasn't your fault! You did everything right, people die and it sucks, and sometimes there are the ones who doesn't leave us but it will be okay i promise! And I'm here for you always".
-carina hugging her tight and falling asleep on her-.

-morning:
-Carina wakes up and seeing Maya looking at her- C:"You make me feel safe you know?, you are my safe place what am i going to do without you? I can't imagine myself without you anymore".
M:"It's a good thing I'm not going anywhere". -kissing-.
-Maya is getting ready to go to work-.
M:"Are you sure you don't want me to stay?".
C:"I'm really ok you can go.. I need to go to work in a few hours anyway".
M: "Than maybe come with me and go to work from there?" C: Sounds good but I really need to take a shower.."
M: ״Oh thank god you noticed the smell״
C: "you.." M: ״oh look at the time I need to go! Bye". C: "I will hit you when you come home!".
M: "Can't wait!".
-Carina calling her after a few minutes-
M: "Missed me already ?"
C: "Well.. yes but it's not why I called.. I forgot to tell you.."
M: "I know , i will be safe I promise"
C: " Good, I love you bambina ".
M: " love you too Pumpkin " .
C: ״ I'm still gonna hit you when you get home you know".
M: "off course you will ".
-evening-
M: " hey Vic It's a calm day and there are not many calls do you wanna come with me to grey sloan? I wanna check on Carina".
V : "Sure I'm board anyway I'm".
-driving- "Anyway.. why do wanna check on her?". M: "she lost a patient yesterday , she took it pretty hard even though today she tried to look like she's ok I know she's not.."
V: "Yeah that's sucks".
M: "We need to go to that burger place ".
V: "Oh right!! They opened it! Next week we're going! Seriously "
M: "ofc we're going we waited for this for a month".
-getting they're-
"Ok I'm going, if there's a call tell me ".
-getting in -
M: "Hi! Amelia"
A: "Hi!! I've missed you!". -hugging-. -punching her-.
M: "heyy! What was that about?".
A: "you never come to visit!".
M:"well it was a busy time but I will come I promise!, now can you tell me where's Carina?".
A: "let me check if she's out of surgery yet and I'll call her for you".
M: "ok thank you". -going amd comes back after 2 minutes-. "She should be out in 5 minutes".
M:"Ok I'll wait".
-5 minutes later Vic is running to Maya-.
V: "Maya, there's a big call we need to go".
M: "I'm coming , hi Amelia tell her I will see her when i get home".
A: "sure".
-a few seconds after she's going carina is coming-.
C: "where is she?".
A: "you just missed her, she had a call but she will meet you at home".
C: "oh.. ok".
