That Halloween night, the great hall has floating Jack O'Lanterns in place of the candles. Harry notices an empty spot on the bench.

"Where's Hermione Granger?"

"Parvati Patil said that she wouldn't come out of the girl's bathroom. She said that she'd been in there all afternoon...crying."

Harry glances at Ron with a disapproving look on his face; Ron shrugs. Suddenly, Professor Quirrell comes running into the Great Hall in panic Athena is catching her breathe entering great hall.

"TROLL! IN THE DUNGEON! T-TROOLLL IN THE DUNGEON!!"

Dumbledore rises from his seat in concern. Everyone look at Quirrell and he stops and there is utter silence.

"Thought you ought to know."

He passes out. The room is silent, and then everyone freaks out, screaming and running.

"SILLLLLEEENNNNCEEEEE!"

Everyone stops and calms down

"Everyone will please, not panic. Now, Prefects will lead their houses back to the dormitories. Teachers will follow me to the dungeons."

"Dad!" Athena grabbed Snape

"What is it?" Athena whispered

"Quirrell set free the troll in the dungeon I saw him he didn't saw me. He's into stone."

"Professor Mcgonagall, Professor Dumbledore you go first I will going to check it. Athena knows and she told me it's quirrell."

"Ms. Potter go back to your dorm, Mr. Flint lead her back to Slytherin common room." Mcgonagall said

"Hufflepuff, this way!"

"Stay together"

Snape looks aghast, and he walks out through a doorway. A bit later, Percy is leading the house down a corridor.

The next morning, in the great hall. The gang is sitting, eating. Harry is twirling his food on a fork.

"Take a bit of toast, mate, go on."

"Ron's right, Harry. You're gonna need your strength today."

"I'm not hungry."

Snape appears at the table.

"Good luck today, Potter. Then again, now that you've proven yourself against a troll, a little game of Quidditch should be easy work for you...even if it is against Slytherin."

Snape walks off, limping. Harry notices this

"That's explain the blood."

"Blood?"

"Listen, last night, I'm guessing Snape let the troll in as a diversion so he could try and get past that 3 headed dog. But, he got himself bitten, that's why he's limping."

"But why would anyone go near that dog?"

"The day I was at Gringotts, Hagrid took something out of one of the vaults. He said it was Hogwarts' business, very secret."

"So your saying is.."

"That's what the dog's guarding. That's what Snape wants."

"Are you sure Harry? Because I know more than you know, I'm sure my father won't do it." Athena kicked his seat

Hedwig screeches as she enters the Great Hall. She is carrying a very large, long parcel. She drops it off at the table. It is nimbus 2000 from Mcgonagall, Athena rolled her eyes leaving.
