eve grunted in pain as max and lucas helped her walk.

"eve, you're bleeding." max pointed out.

"are you okay?" lucas chimed in, staring at her with a worried look on his face.

"yeah." she responded.

"here." max said, now in front of nancy's car.

lucas opened the door for them, helping eve inside.

max goes on the other end, helping mike get eleven in.

"here." mike said.

eleven groaned, the throbbing feeling coming back to her leg when putting her weight on it.

"lay down." he instructed.

eve turned to her, lightly patting her lap.

so far, eve's fingers were numb so she couldn't feel a thing when moving them.

el nodded slightly, laying her head down on eve's lap.

as nancy started up the vehicle, the engine sputtered.

"what's wrong?" jonathan asked her.

"i don't...i don't know." she stammered.

the engine sputtered again.

"you can't be serious. come on!" she snapped.

"didn't your mom just buy this car?" lucas questioned.

"yes. i'm sure it's fine." she mumbled.

"did you leave the lights on?" will asked.

"no." she said, sounding annoyed.

"do we have gas?" lucas then asked.

"yes!" she yelled.

she tried starting up the car once more, to no avail it wouldn't start.

"come on!" she cried.

jonathan stopped her before she could cause some serious damage to the car.

"whoa, whoa, whoa! just stop, stop!" once getting her to stop, he went "pop the hood."

once doing so, jonathan hopped out of the vehicle. going to inspect what was wrong with it.

nancy exited the car too.

"what the hell?" they could hear jonathan say.

"what?" nancy looked confused.

"the ignition cable's gone."

they hear the sound of a car engine roaring in the distance.

the older teens turn to see who it was.
