three months went by, and the girls had moved in with the byers.
joyce thought it would be safer if they were to all to move. hawkins was too dangerous for the girls to be in, considering all of what had happened during the summer.
she thought it would be good for them both, if they got a change of scenery.
neither of them wanted to go.
they had their family back in hawkins.
why did they have to leave the one place they knew so well?
on the day the byers and the girls were preparing to move, the twins were the most upset that day than they were when given the news three months ago.
they were really leaving.
they wish all of what happened didn't happen.
why did life have to come to this?
as everyone was moving stuff out and or packing. el and eve were in the room they stayed in, getting their stuff together too.
after, eve had used her powers to kill the mind flayer. her powers had stopped working. el's powers hadn't worked since then either. so, they were in the same boat.
that one boat that was slowly but surely going to sink..
eleven went to go reach for her teddy bear that was up on a shelf she couldn't reach in the closet.
she held out her hand, attempting to use her powers to grab it.
unfortunately, nothing happened.
the frequency vibration was weak, it's been that way for the last three months.
eleven huffed, dropping her hand to her side.
mike came in, getting it for her.
eve smiled, leaving the room for the two to have privacy.
as she went down the hall, she accidentally bumped into max.
"oh! i'm sorry." max cried.
"it's okay." eve said back to her, smiling.
"hey, um." max twirled a strand of her hair around her finger. "could we..talk?"
eve blushed. "s-sure." she stammered.
"let's go in the bathroom to do it." max suggested.
once in there. max had sat herself up on the counter, heaving out a sigh.
"look, remember that night when we uh.. kissed?" max questioned.
