the group gathered around in the living room, while eve was resting on the couch.
when coming back to reality, she had sworn to the others that she was fine. but, they all knew she was lying in which she caved in and told the truth.
she was in so much pain, it was worse then the pain she felt after the beatings she was given from the bad men at the lab..
"he said he was building something. that it was all for me and eve." eleven briefly explained.
"building something... is he talking about the flayed?" max questioned.
"he must be." nancy guessed.
"so, he's building an army, just like we thought." lucas chimed in.
"yeah, but he's not building this army to spread." said mike.
"he's building it to stop eleven and twelve." will confirmed.
just hearing that, sent shivers down everyone's spines.
eve shuddered at the thought.
"last year, el and eve closed the gate on him. i have a feeling that really pissed him off." mike expressed.
"like, royally." lucas added in.
"and the mind flayer now knows that they're the only thing that can stop him. but if they're out of the way-" "game over." lucas cut him off.
"he also said he was gonna kill all of you." eve mentioned.
"yeah, well, that's nice." max said sarcastically.
from outside, they could all hear a faint screeching noise.
eve closed her eyes, wincing in pain.
she saw a vision of the mind flayer attacking them from inside the cabin, with el desperately trying to keep her family safe.
nancy went over to the window, trying to look to see what was out there.
eve sat up, immediately regretting it when she started to feel dizzy.
the screeching sound continued, getting louder this time.
"do you guys hear that?" nancy shuddered.
