inevitable

Astrid's POV:
This morning as i woke up in Peters bed i notice he was already up, he is taking a shower in his bathroom. So i do what any best friend would do - snoop!

I am three childhood diaries in when i suddenly hear silence; the shower has turned off he is coming out any minute. I have to hurry up and pretend to sleep.

Peter came out of the shower in some fresh clothes as i begged him to go to the mall with me because it is Sunday and I am yet to experience Earths malls. He walked up to me and whispered in my ear "I know you're awake Astrid" to which i replied "argh it must've been your peter tingle that gave me away" pretending to pout.

"WHO TOLD YOU THAT?"  he exclaims "It was aunt May wasn't it" "I think you'll find it was you that gave yourself away" I chuckle "no i think it's cute you keep diaries" "journals" he interrupts so i sigh and carry on "yeah whatever anyway i used to write in mine every day until my monster of a brother Loki burned them all and i just never started writing again because Odin knows he would just ruin them all again!"

Peter stood there thinking "Okay so i have to cancel going to the mall today, but i have a replacement plan for us or more specifically you." he finally said. "And what's that?" I question.

"follow me"

I followed Peter into the court yard to find Loki also stood there and Thor sitting on the floor impatiently. "No Peter no" i exclaim trying to turn back around. "Sister you and Loki's make up is inevitable so just get it done and out of the way" Thor pleads "Fine i will not go, however i'm not forgiving Loki ever" I huff "Your time is all i can ask for" Loki speaks up.

"Okay you got this i'm going to go now" Peter whispers "Please don't i cannot do this without you" i beg "Fine but only for a few minutes" he bargains and i nod in return.

"Loki make your plea then" I demand "It was wrong of me to kill yours and Thor's best friend Lady Sif, but i only meant to harm her then i was going to heal her again afterwards. I just wanted to scare you."

"Well you didn't scare me... YOU TRAUMATISED ME!"

"Yeah i know, i only did it because you gave me nightmares of mother dying in my arms for a week" "Only because you pretended to be a snake, transformed back and stabbed Thor and I" "Only becau-" "STOP IT" Thor bellows. Apologising, Loki and I shut up.

"How did you kill her" Peter asks shyly as if thinking by asking he is going to be killed.

"I threw seven knives at her, one hit her carotid artery and she bled to death before i knew how to stop it..." Loki confesses

"You disgust me you piece of unwanted trash" I cried.

Thor knew those words where hurting Loki so he scolded me with his voice cracking in sorrow "How dare you say that, he is the worst of the worst i know, i'm not ignorant and i know it will take time before you forgive one another but he is wanted and he will always be wanted if not by you if not by Earth if not by anyone, then by me!"

Thor has never snapped at me like that i know i went too far. "I am so sorry"

"Do you even remember why we started this spat of ours? Because i do" Loki states "It was one evening around 200 years ago, you and i argued over who could throw the farthest and you snapped and said 'no matter what happens to me and how much i am loved which i am not i will always be worthless to you and everyone around me, i am a nobody'"

Peter looks at me with horror and with that one look and the guilt ripping me apart i fall to my knees screaming and crying as my powers erupt from me.

The ground shakes and windows shatter and everyone runs out of the compound. "Loki?" I say ashamed of myself "I am so sorry"

"I don't expect you to forgive me for Lady Sif but i hope you understand i am sorry and you know where i am coming from" Loki says inspirationally.

Thor walks up to me and walks me closer to Loki "I told you your makeup was inevitable"

"You are always right Thor" i laugh through my tears

I send Loki a message telepathically saying. 'you are not worthless brother not only do i want you around, i need you' he smiles in return not being able to send one back.

"Astrid? What the hell?" I hear Nat say I laugh thinking of the perfect response "oops" oh well nothings perfect.

I (with the help of Wanda) move everything back to its original place and everyone went back inside as if my meltdown never happened.

I have to talk to Thor, oh and Peter as well that'll be fun i will talk to Thor first his conversation is much easier than Peters.

"Thor?" I ask "can i come in and talk to you?" "Of course little one" he chimes.

"Siffy was your best friend too, Thor"

"I am aware..? haha"

"How did you forgive Loki so easily?"

My question stuns him and then he looks at me honestly and revealed "to be honest, I didn't forgive him not until he revealed the truth behind your spat and you forgave him too"

I ponder his response and say "Why where you so determined to get us to forgive each other then if you didn't forgive him?"

"Because all that matters to me is you guys being happy, i meant what i said about Loki it just took time to believe it myself, Astrid."

"I love you Thor"

"I love you too little one"

Well that went well, now time for Peter. This will be fun.

Peter is in Tony's lab watching Tony update his spider-man suit. I walk into Tony's lab and ask to talk to Peter privately. He reluctantly walks out the lab and takes me to the main living room.

"Peter we need to talk" I start

"Yeah yeah i know"

"What i said to Loki, that was so unfair and cruel of me. But at the same time you and i both know that it wasn't me. I spoke to Loki and we are okay now."

"Yeah i'm glad you guys are okay"

"It was your horror that made me have a magic melt down"

"Oh i'm sorry, i didn't mean to act like that i just have never seen you act like this, i have seen you destroy people in missions, roast people like no tomorrow and get so angry or sad you destroy buildings with your powers but never have you said something like that"

"I know" I say as I start balling my eyes out.

Peter is freaking out he because he knows he said the wrong thing "Oh i'm sorry i didn't mean it like that please stop i'm sorry, you and Loki have figured it out and it's all okay"

"I-i-it's okay" i stifle. but my crying and whimpering quickly transforms into giggles.

"huh what?" Peter says confused, i can't help but burst out laughing I run over and gave him a hug confusing him even more.

"It's okay Peter everyone knows you says things you don't mean like that"

"ha ha ha" he says sarcastically with a straight face.

"I should go, see you tomorrow Spidey"

"see you tomorrow my dea"

Astrid and Loki fixed their problems!
