Tell the truth

Peter's POV
After last night, the prom the slow dance the kiss all of it i don't know what to think.

I would go and talk to aunt May but she's in London with Happy on a couples holiday so I have to go to my Plan B.

"Mr Stark?" I call out trying to find him. He isn't in his lab or Bruce's or in the meeting rooms or training rooms or anywhere!

I think of all the places he could be when I realise there is only one place he can be. It cannot be true he must be on an early morning mission or something I don't even think he knows where his room is.

I walk up to Tony's and Pepper's room and I knock lightly to not wake Tony up if he is asleep.

"Come in" I hear Tony grumble, I obey and walk into the room.

"Did I wake you Mr Stark? If I did please go back to sleep - Pepper would kill me if I stopped you from sleeping the one time you do!"

"No kid it's alright I have already woken up I got a good 4 hours of sleep last night, first time in weeks!" He brags as if it were a good thing.

"You know that's not goo-" I try to tell him but he interjects with "Well it's good for me now what did you need Pete or was it another ploy to get me to sleep more?"

I shake my head and sit in the chair in the corner of his room. "I need to talk to you about Astrid" I shamefully claim.

"I was about to tell you to not sit down but for the sake of Astrid and you, sit as long as you would like!" He expresses cheerfully.

I sigh and tell him what happened at the prom.

"Hold up - YOU KISSED HER?" Tony says shock. I nod in shame thinking he will make fun of me until he decides to say "Well is there any chance you could wait until your graduation to date her because I bet you would be together by the end of the year"

I start to get annoyed with him and i passively argue "No Mr Stark I like her and I won't date or not date someone so you can win more of the one thing you have ample of other then your ego!"

Tony looks at me like I am crazy and I begin to frantically apologise. He began to laugh, hysterically laugh.

"Mr Stark?" I say concerned. Tony stops laughing and says "fine i don't really care date her, don't date her it doesn't effect my life"

I look at him with worry in my eyes, he huffs and says "Sorry kid, if you like her like you think you do ask her out. Someone like Astrid won't be on the market for long."

"Thank you Mr Stark" I praise as I leave the room.

Astrid's POV:
After my new found discovered of my liking for Peter I realise I haven't told the one person I was to thank for this.

Mum.

To be perfectly honest I don't want to go to Asgard I just want to stay in my room so I decide to write her a letter. This letter said:

Dear mother,

To start my letter I would like to say Prom went amazing! Everyone loves my dress and I realised I really like Peter.

Peter was in awe of me and my dress when he first saw me. The best part about prom and Peter was the slow dance and the kiss though.

Yes Peter kissed me! He asked me to dance to the slow song after Flash asked me and I said no and after the romantic slow dance he kissed me.

We aren't dating but I want to know what his intentions are, does he even like me back do you think?

You are so wise you always know how to fix mines and my siblings problems can you fix one more?

I love you forever mum! Missing you always.

I send the letter through Heimdall and I await for a response.

It has been Several days since I have sent my letter to my mother.

I get anxious about my letter not reaching her so I decide to write her another; i go down to the office to get more paper but when I return there was a white envelope on my pillow.

I opened it carefully and read the contents saying:

To my darling daughter,

You are strong and powerful; you are literally the goddess of power!

I am only wise because of you and your brothers, your strength makes me stronger because when I see those smiles at the end of a bad period all I can think about how proud I am of you.

I tried to teach you a lot of things when you were younger, do you remember those things?

One of the things I taught you was to tell the truth. I see you have learned my lesson because you have told the truth to yourself , now it is time you tell the truth to Peter Parker.

From what you tell me he must like you too. I don't believe him to be a "player" so why would he kiss you unless he is trying to tell you something.

I am so happy the prom went well for you, you are growing up so fast and it is taking me time to catch up.

Follow your heart darling whatever the outcome it will be ok!

Sorry for taking so long to post this chapter. I don't post them until the chapter afterwards is complete and it's taking me time to complete it.

Here is the end of chapter 9, it ends quite suddenly just because I have some plans for the next chapter and I made a deal to myself in order to keep the pace slow it wouldn't happen until chapter 10! Any guesses as to what it is?
