I rummaged around the room until I decided to go to the garden. I knew it needed some attention and I felt I would be better suited there. I began out the door and down the hall once I reached the steps I began down them heading into the back and towards the garden. It didn't take me long to pull any weeds that shouldn't be there and water down anything that needed it. I looked around and then smiled at my handy work. I looked up to see Lord Julius standing on his balcony he was leaned over on the rail and looking at me.

"My Lord do you need anything?" I called up to him and I could have sworn he smiled.

"No just my lunch at 1..." He stood straight and walked into his room.

Why was it that when he was around he got to me? I knew that he could have me killed and I knew that if he was having a bad day that I could get the bunt end of things and where would that get me? I made my way up to the room washing up and grabbing a glass of wine to and a soft salad. I began up the stairs making sure things were perfectly placed on the trey and stopped at the mirror in the hall fixing my curly hair and then straightening my dress. I wasn't really sure why I was doing this but I did. My hand rose to knock on his door but I stopped when I heard his booming voice call for me to come in.

"Good Afternoon Sir." I said and walked in bowing to him then walking to his sitting area and placing his lunch on the table.

"Sit down." He gave me a small nod towards the large leather chair that I stood by. Hesitantly I sat down and folded my hands in my lap.

"Is there something I can do for you?" I looked down not wanting to make eye contact with him.

"What is your name?" I looked up shocked and then opened my mouth but shut it.

"Elizabeth... My Lord" I said in almost a whisper.

"Elizabeth What?" He growled and I furrowed my brow.

"Elizabeth Rose Dumont...." I snapped and his eyes widened.

"Excuse me?" His voice became dangerously low.

"Don't sit here and question me.... I am here to provide for you but I deserve equal respect." I stood up and began out the door.

"Sit down... you are here for me and me alone so if I want to question you I can!" his voice sent chills down my spine as I walked back to my chair and sat down.

Before either of us could speak a guard rushed in and began to babble about something. He was saying something about a woman at the front gates and she was claiming that she knew Lord Julius's secret. I couldn't help but wonder what the guard was talking about and I just sat there and listened.

"Let her in and I will deal with it." He gave an order to the young man and I stood looking around."Get some tea going I will need it." He said and I bowed walking out of the room and down to the kitchen. I did as I was asked and I began to make the tea I looked out of the door when I heard the woman.

"Oh dear he has let this place go to hell.... I mean my lord." Her voice was pitchy and made me cringe. " There are a lot of you little sluts here aren't there. I does he feed off of you?" The young girl looked at the woman and she began to laugh. "Oh, don't tell me you all don't know what he is?" She laughed and threw her coat at the woman. She was tall and blonde and had red lips. She was beautiful but she was here to hurt Lord Julius... here to expose his secret whatever it was.

I began up the stairs and to Julius's room. I walked just far enough behind the woman in order to walk in five minutes after her I stood at the door waiting for the perfect time to walk in. I walked straight to Julius and set the tea set in front of him. I began to pour him his tea when I looked at him and he was smiling at me. I narrowed my eyes at him and he just grabbed my hand and pulled me beside him.
