Loving Him

I awoke feeling warm and comfortable. I tried to roll over and my eyes shot open when I couldn't move. Looking over to my right I see a peaceful Julius sleeping beside me. His face was soft and I could see the boyish features now. He was so sweet when he slept and I forgot the ruthless man that lied beside me was in fact Julius. His breathing was even and he was what looked to me smiling. I looked over to the rather large clock that stood just beyond his bed and narrowed my eyes. We had over slept by two hours and he had not awoken once.

"Lord Julius!" I gasped sitting up and scrambling to get out of bed.

"What?" He hissed grabbing my arm and pulling me back into bed.

"Sir we over slept." I said and his eyes shot open looking at me.

"We what?" His voice was like Ice when he asked again and looked back at his clock.

"I am so sorry I should have woken up it isn't like me to sleep in like that." I said as his arms pulled me closer to him.

"It is normal when you are comfortable and don't want to get up..." He closed his eyes again and sighed.

"Go back to sleep today is a lazy day and I say I don't want you to wake up until I do." He pulled the covers back over me and then chained me down with his arm.

"Yes sir but don't we have to get on the road?" I asked and one of his eyes opened and his brow rose.

"I suppose you are correct..." He rolled his eye at me and then lifted up kissing my lips and then disappearing into the bathroom.

I was about to slide out of bed when to door opened and Sir James walked through. He looked at me and then frowned. Walking to me he jerked me out of Julius's bed and onto my feet.

"I don't know what has gotten into you but you can just walk in here in your short gowns and go laying on his bed! Do you want to die Elizabeth?" I was about to say something when I felt my body being jerked away from Sir James.

"Elizabeth go back to sleep and I will wake you when you need to shower." Julius's eyes never left Sir James and I crawled back into bed pulling the covers over me and watching the two men.

"Ah, my lord I see you have taken quite a liking to Miss Dumont." He looked to me with a knowing smile.

"Yes James you got what you wanted now what is it." He asked his eyes looking to me.

"The carriage is here to take you to Hogish." He stated this and my mouth fell open.

"Hogish?" I squeaked and Julius chuckled.

"Yes, Hogish... I didn't want to tell you I wanted it to be a surprise." He said and James cleared his throat.

"I am sorry sir what?" He looked to me and I shrunk.

"She will be attending as my companion... I feel if I have a human on my arm I will defiantly win this." He said and began back to the bathroom.

"I will pack her things immediately." He rushed to the door and Julius began to laugh.

"Please she has nothing fitting for Hogish... I will be buying things when we get there and that would be why I requested to leave early." He said and James nodded looking at me with a smile.

So that was it because he wanted to win the humans over he was going to take me... I felt the pain in my chest and that was when I realized that I really liked Julius more than liked. I was falling for him. He was going to use me as a pawn in his game and I was falling for him. A ruthless man he was and I had the stupidity to believe that he actually cared for me.
