The smile I plaster to please you
A smile everyone loves
But the tears and cries for help are ignored
The tears are ugly
The tears shed in the dark
The tears that make nights sleepless
That is pain no one can see
Pain so deep it hurts to talk about
Pain that hurts more than scars you engraved
Pain that replays in your sleep
The pain you can't see is dangerous
It eats you alive
It breaks you
It shatters you
It's unbearable
It's a knife that constantly stabs you
A knife that leaves mental scars
Scars that paint your mind
Scars that make you question
Question your existence
Question your presences
It's so painful
Describing it hurts
Feeling it hurts
Everything about pain hurts
