Strange

The sun radiated it's warmth into the ocean waking all the mer creatures up to begin their day. Thus had cause Katsuki to awoken from his deep slumber.

He peep open an eye to see his surroundings and saw he was still in his cave and still had all his belongings near him. He open his other eye and stretch his tired limbs. As he did that his mind wonder off to his store and see if he had all the orders done for the day, which he did so that's a check of his list.

Another check of his list for having all of his frames and jewelry up to stock in his store. And another check for having extra supplies for his sto- nope he remembers he ran out yesterday. God dam it.

So that means he have to gather supplies after he ate breakfast and needs to do it quickly so he could open up his store on time. He quickly grabbed his bag and swam out of his cave to find some fish to eat.

He swam around the are for a couple of minutes until he saw a school of fish. He quietly swam behind a rock and watch patiently as they swam closer to him. He waited and waited for the right time to pounce on them. 'Come on you little fishes swim closer to me. NOW!' Katsuki thought as he silently watch his food swam closer and that cause his tail fin to move faster, but his tail fin hit a small rock and bounce off the other rocks.

Katsuki quietly curse at himself as the fishes swam away from him. 'Fuck it I'm going to get them right now.' Katsuki thought as he swam after ten school of fish. The rulers of the ocean must have hate him because something hit him in the head . He looked down and saw that it was a sea slug that was thrown at his head. He quickly turn around to see how had thrown the sea slug at him, but instead another sea slug was thrown at him again. Anger run through his body as he grabbed a hold of the two sea slugs and was about to yell, but he heard laughter.

His anger settle as he quietly swam towards the laughter, and looked down behind the rock to see little mer creatures holding a bunch of sea slugs. Katsuki smiled as he watch the little mer creatures laugh to each other.

"Hey, you little guppies dropped these." Katsuki said and saw the little ones froze as they slowly look up. Katsuki smirk as he drop the two sea slugs towards the little ones and waved good bye to them.

'So I may have a soft spot for little guppies I can't help it there so cute and sometimes wants me to have my own. But no one around here seems to want to be my mate, so screw them! I can live my life on my own for the rest of my life'. Katsuki thought as he continue to swim on the look out for any fish.

Lucky for him he found some fish that would be enough for him for breakfast a couple minutes later. He was given a good chase but at the end he got his fishes and ate them real quickly.

He then continued on his small adventure to stop a couple of times to gather some colorful reefs to add to his collection.

After swimming for almost an hour he finally made it to his usual spot.

His usual spot to search for things was near to the cliff 'Of The Forgotten' he heard about the tale when he first gotten to his village. It says that who ever swim off the cliff and down towards the darkness never return, and it happened once.

There was a group of young guppies who thought that the tale was a lie. So they adventure off to the cliff and all decided to go down into the darkness, except for one. The little one of them all told them that they should not do it and go back to the village. But they all ignore the little one and swam off the cliff and down into the darkness. The little one waited for minutes to hours, and when the sun settle the little one decided to swim close the edge of the cliff. Once the little one was on the edge they peered down and actually saw a sea floor and nothing else, no darkness. But they heard a sound down there but it was quite. The little one looks down and saw nothing, but a few seconds later they heard the sound again and realized it was a scream. But not just any scream it was one of his friends scream. The little one swam all the way back to the village and told the adults, and the adults quickly swam to the cliff to see if any of the guppies were safe, but they saw blood flowing up. They all knew that all the guppies that went down there were gone for ever.

The elders decided that it would be good to tell this tale to the young so that they will never go near the cliff and loose their life. So to this day all the guppies in the village learn of this tale or the new mers that move in the village.

Katsuki knew that no one comes here now so that makes it the best place for him to go, and search for things without being bother.

Katsuki got to searching for things he could use around the area.

He search for an hour and found lots of things already and when he was about to pick up a shell he heard a noise. He stop and looked around to find nothing.

Katsuki shrug his shoulders and started to pick up the shell agin only to hear the noise again but a little louder. Katsuki quickly put the shell in his bag and put it down then swam towards the edge of the cliff and was about to look down only to turn away.

"Why am I risking my life to found out what that noise was. I should just ignore the noise and continue my search. Though there might be some treasure down there I could get.  No I should remember about the tale and what happen to those guppies.... Screw it I'm going to look," katsuki said as he turn back around and look down the cliff to see a sea bed.

He look closer and saw a nest down in the sea bed, but was huge as a whale.

Katsuki laid down on the ground and tried to look closer to see what made that nest, but he heard the noise again and caught a glimpse of a giant tail.

Katsuki quickly got up and swam backwards until he was arms reach with his bag. When he was close he hurried pick up his bag and swam away from that place.

He swam with all his might towards his cave and made it inside.

"What the hell was that?"
